So someone cannot die in a hotel again?
It's like sealing a hospital everytime a patient dies.
From slumping and dying it's most likely he had a heart attack.
Unless the police are now claiming he slipped due to the tiles otherwise there is no basis to lock the hotel when there is no remotest evidence of foul play.

This is a country where people have been arrested or even killed for sitting in front of their houses collecting fresh air!

Please, don't leave the electric heater on while u take ur bath. It's dangerous! I usually ask for a bucket ( if f there's none in the hotel room?) with which i mix the hot and cold water. I can't risk my life in naija where anything can go wrong.

one thing that has killed so many people and ends up being neglected. There's s a special kind of flooring for bathrooms and toilets

i know many people will overlook this but you are very right! the tiles with rough surface is for bathroom and kitchen, while the ones with smooth surface is for the parlour, bedroom and other places, but most idiotic tilers interchange them. my friend mom also slip and died in the bathroom 10 years back because of this same error

Death everywhere in this country since Buhari enter...we now have 5 million ways to die in Nigeria. The frustration is too much. Na so passenger enter bus, paid his bus fare and started sleeping...he was sitting between two passengers...when the passenger on his left side got to the bus stop and tapped him to adjust so he can come down..baba no move his body..e do go be that As soon as other passengers discover say the man don die... everybody pick race.

seems like you don't know your Nigerian police too well...Those are very unprofessional with their dealings, In a saner country, investigation would be made before arrest, But in Nigeria, arrest would be made before investigation, that's after beating you to stupor until you are forced to admit to a crime you knew nothing about....

I suspect Bathroom Slip.

Similar incident happened to me in an hotel bathroom. I slipped and fractured my shoulder bone. Like I literally had to keep breathing for 1 hour on the floor to regain my consciousness.

It took the grace of God to survive that incident. This is why we should be careful with bathrooms. Most bathrooms are poorly tiled.

This happened yesterday morning and not today. The hotel is just beside my house and I'm even there right now. It's operational at the moment.

Should've called a lawyer.... sue the owner ... be compensated... and more importantly.... today be sure the problem would've been fixed.

Maybe the same contractor did this hotel and this guy was not as lucky as you. Singer dies in bathroom .... it must be heart attack ... or drugs.... no autopsy needed ... no one to blame... we move on.
