Hi pls go and add ur baby to your application like that. Sent in all my documents on Saturday. My baby appeared on my profile today

Congrats, good for you.
They’re very fast these days. I emailed them about the date and they responded almost immediately saying I should ignore it. I’m still waiting to get some of baby’s documents that’s why I haven’t added her but I will do b4 the deadline.

Good morning everyone,

Please does family relative other than siblings and parent add point to CRS score?

I added an aunt as relative to my EE profile, but it is yet to reflect in my CRS score breakdown and it has also not improved my scores.

Please assist..

Hi people! I got PPR!!!!
Still very surreal.

Ircc ignored me again. For some reason this particular wait was harder than the first mostly because every single person I met on this journey and became friends with had gotten PPR lol. I felt dejected and forgotten.

I can’t thank God enough.
My watch has finally ended.
I return all the glory to Him.

See this comment is the truth and exactly how i feel. Congratulations Yellow sisi, Super Happy for you

Judicial case of someone who didn't add his spouse to his application post COPR; it may seem like a small error but it's actually a big deal

https://decisions.fct-cf.gc.ca/fc-cf/decisions/en/item/521543/index.do?q=express+entry

[2] The Applicant is a 34-year-old citizen of Pakistan. He applied for permanent residence as a skilled worker under the Express Entry Program from Pakistan in March 2017. The application was approved on October 2, 2018 and the Applicant’s visa was issued.

[3] On December 24, 2018, the Applicant married but mistakenly did not update or inform the visa office of this change in his family circumstances.

[4] On January 20, 2019, the Applicant landed at Pearson International Airport. Upon arrival, he was asked by CBSA if anything had changed in his family situation. He immediately and readily told officials he was married.

[5] Therefore, he was not landed because subsection 51(b) of the Regulations requires permanent resident visa holders to demonstrate at the time of their examination for permanent residence that they and all of their dependants, whether accompanying or not, are admissible to Canada. The Applicant was permitted to enter Canada but his passport was seized. His visa and permanent resident status were cancelled soon after.

[6] He enlisted the help of his MP, Hon. Judy Sgro. Soon after, IRCC reopened his file. He was able to add his wife who was examined and found compliant.

[7] By that time the Applicant expected he would have his visa and permanent resident status restored. It appears IRCC was of the same mind.

[8] He thought his mistake in not telling IRCC of his marriage until he arrived in Canada was forgiven.

[9] He was mistaken. I say this because CBSA – which is in charge of enforcing IRPA – instituted proceedings against him and issued a Report under section 44 on February 7, 2019, concerning subsection 41(a), a proceeding which could, and eventually did result in an inadmissibility finding against him by the Immigration Division [ID], although as noted below, not without misgivings by the ID Member.

Hi people! I got PPR!!!!
Still very surreal.
It all started here so I figured I send my good news here too.

Finally submitted my documents Feb 10th 2021
Finally exactly one year after I submitted, I got adr.
Adr was for proof of income, proof of funds and remed.
I submitted the other documents on February 21st, 2022
Booked medicals with qlife and they gave me March 4th
Medical was passed on March 13th

May 19th, 2022 I got another adr.
The adr was for PCC, Schedule A and conformation of nature of company’s business ( this one fear me o I no go lie)
Gathered my documents and sent in on May 24th,2022

Then on June 7th, the beautiful day our Lord made, I checked my mail in the morning as usual and saw a mail from ircc. My heart skipped a bit and I rushed to check my account.
Lo and behold my ppr was sitting pretty.

I can’t thank God enough.

Congrats Yellow!

Good day everyone. I am new here. Pls, I need your assistance on step by step approach to processing of Canada express entry for my wife. She is a nurse with BNSc ( Bachelor of Nursing Science). She is also a registered midwife and public health nurse. I am aware of these:
Writing of IELTS (general type)
Evaluation of her BNSc certificate by WES

Thank you in anticipation for response.

Hey guys,
Does US visa denial affect Canada PR application?.

I am currently in the US and I was thinking of applying as Primary applicant. I got my US visa once but my husband has been denied like three times. Although we have the same qualifications , he is more likely to obtain his reference letter from his office than I am( I had to resign cus I had serious issues with the office).

Now I’m thinking my husband can be the primary applicant while I as dependent also do my ECA and IELTS for extra points.

Will his previous US visa denials affect this PR application process? PLEASE I NEED YOUR KIND ADVICE. Thank you.

congratulations to you, thank God it ended in Praise. Please do share how you explained the last ADR.

Thanks a lot. I wrote a “confirmation of nature of business” letter, my boss signed and I sent it. The letter stated what we do, some clients we have worked with in the past and a bit of our employee structure. I also added a detailed letter of explanation. Think I even gave too much info but I was just worried

Allegory:

No need to panic, just work with the first letter, someone obviously forgot to send the second letter until after it expired because doesn’t that say 6th May?

If I were you, I’d try to take advantage of the second mail though, especially if you live in Lag or Abj. Show up to IOM with it and ask for a closer medical date. Except that’s how you got the 2 week date in the first place.

Thank you somuch. I took your advice and went to IOM with both letters yesterday. I got an appointment and did my medicals the same yesterday.
Thank you.
