Everytime online we see cursing, fighting, slander between these two tribes. Yet every Saturday there's always an Igbo/Yoruba wedding going on somewhere in Nigeria.

So what basically is the issue.

Is it a case of fight no reach bone or a case of two tribes being used by their political masters to wipe up sentiments for the benefit of only the political masters?

Eg Tinubu's people seem to be hell bent on introducing tribal differences/sentiments anytime elections are mentioned.

But in essence the two tribes act like they need each other more than the other tribes in the country.

I have said it many times, I am repeating it here now. It is degenerative for the Yoruba gene to mix blood with Ibo. We are a superior race. Everytime there is Yoruba/Ibo reproduction we do your gene favor and implant in the reproduced life a percentage nobility and thrive on the Darwinian scale. That life attains a sense of being and social identity far richer than would have been the case if it was produced with a 0% Yoruba. A fraction, just a quarter of Yoruba gene is enough to project a mixed Ibo into better dynamics amongst compatriots bred in Iboland.

The best dynamics for Yoruba blood is Yoruba/Yoruba.

This may sound tribalist but it is worth reflecting on since in the spirit of open discussion this OP had asked for serious and critical inputs. If you ask for honest input in Nairaland you will get more than you bargained for. Sometimes we keep politically correct...until provoked.
