In my humble opinion,

The winners
1. All those who stepped down for Tinubu, they will be rewarded with juicy positions and continue leeching on the country.
2. All the delegates. They made a lot of money from the primaries and they might also be part of the government later.
3. Tinubu. He won, not majorly because of his efforts but because the president is a mannequin. If Buhari had the balls to make decisions by himself, Tinubu wouldn't have won.

The loosers
1. Nigerians
Most Nigerians felt the kind of "chop I chop" government we usually had will come to an end. It was however heartbreaking for most of us when we came to realise it won't end anytime soon. Tinubu or Atiku will install their type when leaving office and the cycle would continue.
2. Osinbajo
He has been labelled a betrayer. Tinubu and his minions control the media space in the SW and that tag would always be on him. Naturally, Osinbajo was supposed to be given the right of first refusal, but for the greed of some godfathers who want to always eat the meat even though they don't have teeth and always want to take the glory even when they didn't partake in the hunt.

Give it up for Mr. Buhari. He gave Osinbajo the nod to contest, he told everyone he had a preferred candidate only to come out later to say he doesn't have one. He left Osinbajo hanging without cover nor concealment. The VP was on his own, mustered a brilliant speech and all he could get was the 3rd position.
Now this is a man who served and defended the president with all the life in him. He was the poster boy of Buhari's government. He didn't try to build any political structure and the little support he had was torn down after the 2019 elections by Tinubu's men. All Buhari could have done was support him. But Buhari is Buhari.

Bubu set Osinbajo up after slaving for him for 7yrs

Tinubu might have won the battle but NOT the war. The Fulani cabals might have made him the flag bearer of their party, APC, but they got something else in store for him. The same play book that they used against Jonathan in 2015 (Fulani abandoned their own party to vote en-masse for one of their own, B0K0HARI) is the same playbook that they are about to employ against Tinubu this time. To the Fulanis, there's no party loyalty when it's a choice between you and their own albeit he belongs to a different party from them.

Anyone who is very astute about the way the Fulanis play politics in the ZOO ought to realize that the moment PDP chose Atiku (a Fulani man and one of their own) to be their nominee, APC had no choice but to choose a southerner. The choice of a southerner was simply a ploy to pacify southerners and made them believe that all is well in the land, hence the northern governors made public pronouncements in support of a southern candidate.

Their only job left was to decide between one of their stooges: Tinubu, Osibanjo or Amaechi. The moment that was accomplished, the same northern governors who were clamoring for a southern candidate, abandoned him to cavort with their own and seal the fate of Tinubu come 2023. What you may not understand that people are saying is, if Osibanjo knew Buhari was just playing mind games and had no "free" delegates from the Sky for him, he would not have contested against Tinubu but campaigned for him.
He was fooled by Buhari, that was what made him contest.

He's a brilliant man, he has influence in NE which is where the current zoning formula for VP , he's was a Tinubu ally in the aso rock, he has the trust of the aso rock cabal but he's not one of their core members, he's brought some sanity to the aso rock.

I think he'll be the VP candidate, with that Tinubu can be sure he'll have the support of the aso rock cabal and Buhari when campaigning
