Tell me who he appointed into a ministerial position?

Can he appoint the ministers of finance?

Chief of Army staff?

CNN governor?

His powers are very limited. He cannot do more than he is allowed.

I thought everyone who blames Osibanjo for the failure of this administration will und this....

It is well.

He doesn't have to appoint Minister to be effective. All he has to do is to lobby which he did not do.

You should have stepped down, your political career is about to become history .

He'll still be remembered as arguably the best VP in the countrys history. And just like obasanjo and Jonathan, expect him to be the toast of the West as soon as he leaves office.

He is not arguably the best VP ever. He is the best Nigeria ever had.

My only issue with Tinubu is that he is not healthy enough to man that office and he knows it. Even mentally, he can heardly gather things anymore.

Osibanjo is and will always be highly regarded in Nigeria and globally.

He is the first black man that I have seen speak with so much accuracy and grace like barrack Obama.

What a loss to Nigeria.

If I will vote as a Yoruba man, I will vote Peter Obi now.

Nigeria missed an opportunity. Yet some self acclaimed political analysts are yet to understand the gravity. You were used and are still going to be (if this mentality isn't done with).

Osinbajo wasn't deceived into contesting and his political career hasn't ended either. He is a man of great great value, passionate about a better Nigeria, committed to serve, loved and acknowledged so across party lines, religion and tribe.

A New Nigeria is possible and we believe. I believe.

So you prefer he goes on a rant causing religious and ethnic clashes to magnify, causing the coutnry to go into a state of emergency? There are other ways to support Yorubaland than bringing the country into chaos like Sunday or Kanu almost did. Ametokun is one way, have you ever asked yourself who finances such groups? 9ja politics no be for kids o, if Tinubu had made such a mistake it would have been equivalent to war, if lives were lost as a result, it would be easy to accuse him of treason and then what's the point? Yoruba saying goes, "Ti owo omode o ba ti te eku ida, ko le bere iku to pa baba e"....When a man has hardly laid his hands on the handle of a sword, it is foolhardy to ask for the kind of death which killed his father...

P.S. Point of correction, Nigerians have never been happy with APC government, DA PA DA, DON'T SAY SUCH AGAIN!

So if Obasanjo can rant about happenings in Nigeria, who is Tinubu. Let's stop deceiving ourselves, he didn't remain quiet because he didn't want to country to go to hell, he did because he didn't want to offend the North, knowing he will need them to achieve his Presidential aim. So criticising the brazen killings here and there is asking for war? Responsible and selfless leaders make statements like "I criticise in strong terms the senseless killings of my people, but implore everyone to remain calm and not take laws into your hands". And it was also the feeling of not wanting to cause war that made him help victims of Northern tragedy and looked the other way in the region abi?

Now I even see the high rate of hypocrisy going on here, the likes of Tinubu kept quiet because according to you " he did not wanting to cause war", but you guys want a sitting VP (to show his hands) go against his own principal and the cabal, the little he did almost even caused him his life. I am sure if Tinubu happens to be the VP, he would have asslic*ed the North to became President. Just admit for once. Well whether you is ardent fans admit or nor, most Yorubas are deeply disappointed in him for keeping quiet.

You mentioned Amotekun, the same Amotekun we only hear about in Ondo and Oyo which is not even an APC state. Amotekun doesn't even function where Tinubu have the most influence in the region; Ogun, Lagos and Osun. And you want to give him credit for that?

Votes in the SW for APC in the was at its lowest last election despite having a VP candidate. Tinubu will win the SW, but I can assure you it won't be a landslide. Not because he is a messiah, saint, or loved, he will win because 'omo eni oni shey did bebere ki afi ileke si idi omo elomiran'.

Finally, if you ask anyone at all who isn't Tinubu's ardent fan or a Northerner, when they really was a relief during this administration, I am sure they will mention while Buhari was hospitalised and Osibanjo the acting President.

At it stands, you guys should worry more about Igbos in Yorubaland, most educated youths in the region, and the chameleon Buhari, who made Atiku the groom's father during Yusuf's wedding.

A very good man, that was deceived into believing he has everything to go against a renowned politician. No be juju be that?

He was taught a serious lesson that was difficult for him to understand.

Hopefully, he would use the remaining 11 months of this administration to showcase some of his plans, except he doesn't wish his principal well.

A very good traitor who chose to bite the hand that fed him is not a good man. He deserves the disgrace meted out to him by the delegates. He needs to go set up his Ice Cream Stand after licking his wounds.

New Nigeria indeed. Nigeria missed no opportunity. Nigeria dodged a ticking time bomb judging by the current state of the economy under clueless Osinbajo's watch.

He needs more than passion to lead Nigeria aright. Passion without action equals nonsense. Osinbajo is incompetent. Don't be fooled by his sweet "empty" promises. He would have brought Nigeria to ruins. He understands nothing.

He is Just a random lucky nobody who was mistakenly favoured by Tinubu whom he betrayed because of his selfish ambition and greed. I bet he is now licking his wounds.

His political career just like the likes of Obanikoro and co has definitely ended and he knows it. PYO is nothing but a confused, incompetent figure head. All words, no action. A failure.

Obasanjo dey contest for presidency? Abi which kind faulty reasoning be this? grin grin. Seriously, Obasanjo's relevance in Nigerian politics today is as useful as the P in psychology, even in his home state, he's not the most powerful figure.

Now on to your next point, what do you mean by lowest? See I am a man of data, in fact it is what I do for a living. APC has only been in existence for 2 presidential elections, 2015 and 2019. So ideally the only reference point is comparing 2019 to 2015, not much of a sample size considering Buhari did woefully from 2015-1019 and the initial hope that drove everyone to the polls in 2015 was no longer there in 2019. In fact voter turnout declined from around 56% to about 37%.. It was not an APC problem but a general absence from voting problem especially in Lagos, a place of about 6 million registered voters only delivering around 1.2 million votes.

To your final point, stop repeating such jargon, there was never any relief. See Nairaland has archives, you can scroll topics from around that time and see whether people were lamenting about poor electricity, poor roads, high unemployment and even killings or rejoicing at good governance. The evidence is there if you can just do a bit of research. Please stop repeating such a fallacy, please!

Nah wetin I wan hear you don admit so, that Tinubu didn't keep quiet because he doesn't he doesn't want chaos, but he did because of his Presidential. No one said he should preach violence like Igboho and Kanu, but as a leader the Yorubas were looking up to, at least to speak out in such situation, but he failed in that regard.
