As for the hotel, we don't need to lodge if our friend, the owner is around. We use the lounge TV.


I'm guessing that you are older than me. I grew up with movies and game and so they are part of me. Even at 90, I will watch movies at cinema.

There's a scene in saving private Ryan where Tom hanks is facing down a tank and is shooting at it with his pistol. As he fired his last bullet the tank blew up.

Turns out it was strafe by a spitfire.

Spitfires were British aircraft. So in the comments it was said the us air force felt air support for infantry was below them or some such.

Which may be why today every branch has their own air support. F14 Tomcat (navy) was designed for an air craft carrier. It can fold its wings it can be catapulted. Fa/18 is marines and is capable of vertical takeoff. The army has the a10 warthog, which is celebrated to this day as a superior air support aircraft

I guess its a case of if it ain't broke just tweak small, esp as the F22 raptor has been a burgeoning budget Shitstorm if I recall.

I think I read that they keep upgrading the avionics of these fighters.

Yeah the United States always have this way of promoting their own, even when it seems inferior or is even inferior.

I see no reason whatsoever how the 5th generation Russian Sukhoi will be made to look like almost nothing to the F - 14. It's like saying the old Volkswagen Beetle can compete with 2005 Toyota Camry (Big Daddy) in terms of speed and maneuver.
