I support Soludo going after criminals but what I do not support is this extra-judicial destruction of property. This is how one of the oldest houses in my village was destroyed during Peter Obi's time when a boy was wrongly accused of being a kidnapper. The person they were looking for actually lived further down the road but shared a similar name with the boy.

They just went there and demolished a house that was almost a hundred years old, and even used to be a colonial court house. I have always said that Peter Obi is Presidential material, but one thing I have against him, which it seems that Soludo has foolishly followed, is this destruction of private property suspected of being used in criminality. This how Peter Obi took Bulldozers and tore down a hotel in Onitsha when the owner and staff didnt know that some people who checked in there were kidnappers

If a place is suspected of of being used for criminality, why not confiscate it? Why rush to destroy it? What if the owner had no idea that it was used for criminality?

Im disappointed in Soludo and this firebrigade approach he has taken. Soludo lived abroad for many years. How many times did he hear that a property was destroyed because it was suspected to be used for criminality? They confiscate it and put it to other uses, and if the owner can prove he had no idea what was going on, it is returned to him or her

What this means is that anyones house can now be demolished in Anambra because Soludo says so? Is it not a competent court of law that will say what a property is used for?
