Peter Obi Increased Anambra Poverty Rate From 20% To 68% - Soludo by Genius100: 7:07pm On Jun 12, 2022 |
One of those present took the satire to some level by comparing Jonathan to the ‘performance’ of the former Governor of Anambra, Peter Obi. He noted that while Obi gloated about ‘savings’, there is no signature project to remember his regime except that his regime took the first position among all states in Nigeria in the democratization of poverty—- mass impoverishment of the people of Anambra. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, poverty rose under his watch in Anambra from 20% in 2004 (lowest in Nigeria then) to 68% in 2010 (a 238% deterioration!). Our friend likened it to a father who had no idea of what to do with his resources and was celebrating his fat bank account while his children were dying of kwashiorkor. He pointed out that since it is the likes of Peter Obi who are the advisers to Jonathan on how to manage the economy (thereby confusing micromanagement which you do as a trader with macro governance) it is little wonder that poverty is fast becoming another name for Nigeria. It was a very hilarious evening. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/01/buhari-vs-jonathan-beyond-election-charles-soludo/ 8 Likes 6 Shares |

Kindly Note ; Charles Soludo is a Professor of Economics and a former CBN Governor Peter Obi is a Philosophy Graduate with highest qualification as Bachelor's in Philosophy, I will confidently say it anywhere, only idiots that can't make simple background checks or do a simple research would fall for Pandora Obis ridiculous Campaign of emptiness For a guy who claims he developed Anambra yet lives at Osbourne Towers Ikoyi, ?! A guy who claim to save Anambra allocation in a bank he once managed yet refused to pay essential workers like Doctors for 13 months?! A guy who would rather invest in Abuja , Lagos and Portharcourt building Next Malls, but never dim it fit to build anything in Anambra So before you join the band wagon effect of online idiots, research Anambra based on Infrastructure, GDP , GDP/Per Capital, Human Development Indexes, Debt to GDP, . 121 Likes 12 Shares |

Sergio101: Perhaps you should go and check Osun's GDP and unemployment rate that's if you are educated enough to do that How many Osun indegenes do you find in Anambra looking for their daily bread, and I can show you 1000s of Anambra indegenes barely making a living off petty trading in Osun . 114 Likes 9 Shares |

Mooh247: we move the youths are coming they have no manifestos to campaign with apart from their usual old tribalism and tribal card tactics. But we'll remind them that tribalism won't bring back dollars to at least 400 tribalism won't bring back fuel to 95 naira tribalism won't send our undergraduates back to school. tribalism won't fix our security. tribalism won't develop our economy. 2023 will be the youths vs the criminals 13 Likes 2 Shares

Anambra had the best road network in the country, when Peter Obi was around. This was principally due to the efforts of Ngige and especially Obi. That is a major landmark project for you right there 2 Likes 1 Share |

The Real Tinubu Tinubu is so sick that he can't even squat or sit and pray. His left hand is dead and always hidden in his clothes and can't hold anything. Away from his health, he is dangerously corrupt and believes governance is all about thuggery, looting, stealing and building evil dynasty. He has no morals or scruples, every known thing about him is trickery, cheating and bribery. He is a modern Lagos slave Lord who ruled Lagos for 8years and brainwashed Lagosians that he singlehandedly built Lagos when even Lagos was built by federal government. Today, no one remembers Fashola, Ambode as the former governors of Lagos who did a lot better than Tinubu. Above all, our experience with Buhari's health can't be wished again. Buhari's health affected Nigeria and took us back in everything. Every Nigerian is crying. North is talking of presidency because of Buhari's health. They felt they lost too. North is worse now than before. Buhari couldn't do anything because of his health and we have another deadman disturbing us. Say God forbid. Tinubu should go and rest. We are not selling Nigeria. Tinubu has stolen a lot of money. If you know how to praise him and collect the money like the north and some wise southerners are doing, please do. But don't come to our houses or important social media platform to promote a deadman who will make our condition worse. A vote to Tinubu is a waste. Don't promote what will affect you and your children. 4 Likes |
