Keep deceiving yourself there. With massive rigging andballot box stuffing in northern Kaduna, ElRufai got 1045000 (55%), votes PDP got 814200 (45%). He lost LG elections he conducted on electronic voting, then realising his folly, quickly abandoned it.
Going into 2023, with BVA and electronic transmission of results, APC will LOSE bigtime.
With Muskim-muslim ticket Atiku would be president by 2.00PM.

. I hereby forsee Tinubu picking a Muslim running mate from the North. He needs a Muslim northerner that can pull crowd in the North for him to win the election. Boss Mustapha caanit even win a senatorial ticket in Adamawa.Lalong is from the North Central. He cannot pull votes for Tinubu in the North West and North East. A northern Muslim will give the magic for him. It is quite unfortunate that Abiola Kingibe combination will surface again. We don't go out to vote in the South.We are just analysts but the Northeners will go out emmass and vote. Tinubu needs the massive viotes in the north.

If you read my post, you will see that I complained about the negative influence of religion in Nigeria's politics. If a Christian-Christian ticket comprises the best hands to take Nigeria forward, why shouldn't we support it? See, have we Christians felt any safer under this government even with our brother who is the vice president? Have the Muslims felt any safer because of their brother who is the president? The answer is No! People are dying left, right and centre irrespective of religion.
I also wonder, why it is only politics that this religion card comes up. Our sport teams, are not formed based on religion but on merit, so why all this division?
May God help us oooo.....too many things divide us rather than unite us, yet we all face the same problems.

Personally, I am okay with either combination as our problems today are affecting all religions.

I wish that Nigeria would have been a land where the card of religion won't be played in politics, but alas see where we are.

All this clamour by CAN, PFN, MURIC et al is just for purpose of political patronage. Once a Christian or a Muslim is in office, they can easily go to Aso Rock for visits, invite to them to the Church or Mosque for their programmes and use them to pull clout etc.

There is just no sincerity. sad

This a democracy regime where there is freedom of choice and expression, the only advice I can give is for you to vote beyond party but the individual irrespective of the party he belongs, and also for your children whose future will be determined by the foundation you lay today.

PDP has dominated 4states in the northeast over the years , with all 4govs... The APC only have 2(Yobe and Borno), as such, nothing would change in the election Dynamics should the APC picks from Northeast ...but with the current heat in the Northwest APC zones , should the APC pick a NorthEast, the northwest may see it as a pack back time for their brother northeast who haven't rule Nigeria before , having it in mind that same Atiku supported PMB president in 2015, where he was able to help the APC won many state in the north that the PDP have never lost before , and also won then back for PDP in 2019... The northeast and NorthCentral should be a no go area for shaky shaky Baba , Baba Tinubu should concentrate on the Northwest and Southwest , that is the best bet for him , but with a muslim-muslim ticket , which may divide the country more deeper than it is mostly during the electioneering process...it's really a tough one for Baba Tinubu , Star Boy VP , would have been more easy to project with Baba Tinubu supports...

I See Baba Atiku wining the election with my political experience in the north, The north is a ground of Religious and tribal politics

Most northerners including the top political class , donnot see Baba Tinubu a as a real Muslim to protect their interest, reason they would never supports a Christian Vp from the north , as it may look like a Christian-Christian ticket ...the best bet is a muslim-muslim ticket , but would be a very big deal for Nigeria unity.
