Go for that which you have passion for.

But mind you, banking job is seen as modern day slavery, there is no career prospect in it.

People here can't give you the final say, rather it lies within you. To get this right, can you pay the price in 6months time if the going is not straight?

Every discipline has their red line, can you endure those red lines?

You graduated 5 years ago and you're already panicking?

Take a chill pill bro.

I'm trying to go into IT too.

Please if you are in Abuja and can mentor me on DevOps (for a fee), kindly quote this post.

Find your passion
Discipline yourself on working on tasks
Practice overtime and start applying.
Whatever you want to do, start now as time waits for no man.

Dear Nigerians, when you see jagabandits attacking the Obi-dients or using demoralizing tactics on us, know that majority of these posters have been paid to use Various means of messaging to achieve that aim of demoralization.
Don't fall victim to them, know that it is a coordinated attack of misinformation paid for by the tinubu campaign group. See an example of their recruitment in the picture below.

But they would all fail, we the youths are ready to send these old thieves home. The youths are ready for a new Nigeria.

Vote LABOUR PARTY. VOTE PETER OBI

Seems you don't have passion for IT, Maybe you should put your mind together and think about what other things you can do...

Follow Your Passion. Only your Passion can truly Pay you a Fulfilled Lifetime.

If your Passion is in the IT world, you have no business being in banking or Construction sites.

NOTE : 90% of the time, your Passion has nothing to do with what you studied in School. I can testify of that.

Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Aliko Dangote etc etc

All followed their passion and will be celebrated forever.

Some people call it Your Purpose in Life but when that Purpose is fired up on the inside of you, it becomes your Passion.

Locate what you are passionate about and follow it. Forget about what people may say.

Your Passion is what you were created to be.

Your contribution to Humanity.

The Problems you were created to Solve.

The inventions locked inside you that are finding expression.

Men that truly follow their Passion despite the setbacks, end up being celebrated.

On a serious thread, half of the comments are filled with jargon.

OP research on in-demand IT related careers and make your pick bear in mind it won't be easy since it's something you're new to.

With hard work and with determination you should be able to make it.

Specify the stage very well.
How old are you?
When did you finish NYSC?

In all these rollercoaster, what are passionate about?

Normally in a developing country, many employees ends up doing what they didn't study.. they jump into whatever that will give them money... Or an available opportunity...

Don't be discouraged.. U are doing what you can to stay afloat.. when the desirable is not advisable, what can you do?..

If anyone asked u to go back to what u studied and there are no openings , will you remain idle until u find a chance or an opening? No one can determine how long the waiting period can be... Just keep acquiring those skills buddy, it will be important and handy some days...

Stay in one lane and choose that which you have passion for...This is important and few people will tell you this...

Your passion will be like a hobby yet leading you to steady movement to the bank for cashout.

We don tell you finish...A word is enough for the wise...Time waits for nobody.

Y are you digressing into analytics? Is it because of what you heard or you have passion for it? There is no free lunch anywhere.

Sit yourself down and write down what you have passion for. Then come back here and ask questions about them.

start learning on your own. Try building a cheat sheet using excel , dont memorize codes, just understand it line by line by translating it to english language.
Look at w3schools dot com, look at the data analytics part with the reference functions and the examples, practice along. Use youtube to practice. Use kaggle dot com to get dataset and also look at the examples there too to practice. Without practicing you would not remember anything.
