I am a graphics designer that is very efficiency with the use of Corel Draw and on my way to being exceptional in Photoshop.
I am hoping if I can be offered any remote job based on the evidence of the designs I created.
I can create all manner of designs as well as function as a social media handler, and data entry specialist.

Why not try Freelancing on LinkedIn or Upwork? You have a very great potential and you should make good use of it. Working for foreign clients will help you utilize your skills and get high bids for project. I am also a freelancer though not a graphics designer.

These skill level won't do I'm not gonna lie to you. There's still room for improvement. Search "Nigeria Graphic Designers" (NGD) on facebook, it's a community of designers...you can learn a lot from there and improve your skills.



P.S you can still design for people (maybe your locality), if they are okay with this standard.

Yes, you can get remote work as a designer — but the key is packaging + proof (not just "I can design".

Quick playbook:
1) Pick a niche: social media posts for businesses, event flyers, logo + brand kit, or ad creatives.
2) Build a small portfolio: 6–10 strong pieces in ONE style (not random).
3) Add context to each design: what the goal was (sell, awareness, recruitment) + what you changed (layout, hierarchy, typography).
4) Create a simple "service menu": e.g. "10 social media posts/week" or "brand kit + 5 templates".
5) Apply where remote clients hang out: LinkedIn, Upwork, Fiverr, and direct outreach to small startups.

Even if you’re still improving, consistency + clean typography will beat flashy effects.
