Hello Aja.. your posts has been very helpful.
I'm a digital marketer and I've been running Ads campaign / Google my business optimization for the past 4 years.. I've never had payment issues until this week. Seems Google Ads no longer accept naira cards.. Do you suggest I open a dollar account with Zenith and if I succeed, do I need to open another Ad account or add the dollar card or detail to my existing account?

Oh, did you meant to write Ojas? That will be better, not Aja.

As regards your question, YES, you can get a dollar card and use it for the same account.

It will work. You don't need to create a new account since the current one is not suspended.

Good morning Ojasweb I have gone through your post and your post are really good and informative. Please I just joined online marketing space and I run FB ads mostly until recently that Facebook not decided to frustrate life out people with the way they ban account left and right. So I decided to give Google ads a short and it has been crazy because I have never run any ads on Google before and it keep showing payment suspicious after finished creating my campaign. Please can you tell me what I'm doing wrong. And I have gone through your thread here where you said it could be that someone had owed Google in the past without paying but I haven't ran ads on Google before.

Thanks as I await your response sir because they have suspended about 4 of my ads account that I created and I have tried 3 different cards.

They didn't accept UBA prepaid card
They didn't accept Eversend virtual card
They didn't accept Barter virtual dollar card too

If you have never owed them and you are experiencing this, the best thing to do is to contact support and submit detailed information about what happened. If you need to do so, the first account that got suspended is the best one to contact them from.

No better recommendations for the budget. Your overall budget and goals should influence your daily ads spend. However you could start with $10 per day.

When Google ads launched smart shopping campaign in 2019, they always ask advertisers to switch their standard shopping ads to smart shopping.

I spoke with one of their support then and i told her while i usually don't switch to smart shopping, and i asked her why they keep asking everyone to use it despite the limitations.

According to her, when Google launch a new product, it is their duty to push it as much as they can. However, that doesn't guarantee that it will give you the best results in most cases.

In September 2021, Google launched Performance Max campaign and it is set to replace smart shopping campaign completely.
Now they are pushing it really hard.

But my issue with PMax is the low level of control and transparency. Additionally, it has very limited optimization choices.
It is not my thing to run ads without having control over where the ads show and how it show.
If you are a new Google ads user, you will regularly see this type of recommendations. If you don't have thorough understanding of how they work, i encourage you not to apply them.

In many cases, this new campaign types usually benefit advertisers with huge budget.
Do you have a lot of budget that you can throw at Google?
If yes, then you can keep applying every single recommendations in your account. Otherwise, stick with what you are familiar with that has been giving you good results.
Cheers!

No sir, that's the total budget. Would have gone for fb ads instead but there's no religious targeting again

That's too low to consider. But that's also not much to worry about. So you can give it a try.

Hello my great specialis, i must commend the good job you are doing here for your fellow country men, kudos to you sir.
Please which currency would you suggest i choose, usd or naira while filling the google ads manager billing info, i'm in Nigeria. Naira cards has been failing on international payment in recent times, so I'm just sceptical if I should wait till my gtb dollar card is ready or proceed with the naira gtb card i have.

Sincere apologies for the late response.
If you choose Naira, you will need an approved agency with consolidated billing to help you pay. It will be worth it if you find one.
However, if you have to pay by yourself, you need to choose USD.

Hello bro, I have an ecommerce site with the price of items between $3.5 - $6 (digital downloads). Can I still make profit with Google ads? Would they charge me as though I were selling stuff worth a thousand dolls?

Yes you can make profit depending on how the offer is presented and the ad creative.

YouTube ads might be the best for this.

@ojasweb.
Can one focus soley on GAds for Digital Products as an Agency?
Or mixed with both Digital and Physical products.
I'm considering Digital Product only as an Agency.
What do you advise?
Is it okay to niche down this way or not?

Thanks.
Well done for all your knowledge shared.
