For years INEC begged Nigerians to get their PVC, they did not get them. Now elections are near and everyone is crowding INEC offices which are not meant to take that much people and you think it is you or INEC that is the problem.

Anyone who is not just turning 18 and is just crowding INEC office for a PVC is unserious

Really ??

Myopic and shameful coming from a mod.

Igbo needs to be curtailed, sanwo olu second term agenda should be how he is going to reduce there population in Lagos State for the real yorubas to enjoy there fatherland.
The Igbos are not living in Lagos for free. They pay rent in their houses and shops as well as taxes on their businesses. The Igbo workers pay taxes as well. Without the Igbos, Lagos State internally generated revenue would significantly reduce. Lagos got developed with federal money when it became the capital of Nigeria. If not, Igbos and other ethnic groups wouldn't have moved in large numbers to Lagos. Thank you.

The fact that a person like you who reasons upside down is allowed to be a moderator in this forum say all there is to say about the quality control of this platform.

You guys are taking Nigerian youths, who provide content osho free on this forum, for granted.

In saner climes, INEC should leave the voter registration exercise open till like two months to the election but we are talking about a corrupt society like Nigeria.

Every Nigerian must be allowed to exercise their civic right.

There was voter apathy before now but since Nigerians have seen the surefit for the job, no jupiter should stand on their way....

Looks like a few rabble rousers planted there to disrupt the orderly dispensing of pvc's.
There has to be dignified decorum in these important matters.

news or occurrences like this do deter a normal busy Nigerian to go collect his PVC, at a point, u go jus change ur mind after asking if its worth the stress...
my guy skip work yesterday after much pleading to get his In this same center n returned by 6pm.with nothing..
yesterday jus waste n he said he wont try such again except inec do d right thing and make d collection easier..
doing covid, vaccines n injections dey very easy to access bcoz we dnt need them but now PVC collection don hard pass to see 1000 dollar billz for ground simply because dey know the youths have woken up..
If a northerner can collect his PVC in spite of obstacles, then nothing should preclude from collecting yours.

I have done online registration....I made my way to the nearby INEC for biometrics but was asked to return the following day

Of course, I will go back and complete the process till I collect my PV.

If you invest three days for the beterment of Nigeria and the sacking of corrupt elements, my broda, that is not too much to ask...

At the end of the day, you will be happy that you contributed positively to national development

Story.... Your excuse nor follow road oga.

Did u know how many times I did my registration before I finally got my PVC?

I did my last registration in my hometown back then in April 2017, and was told to come and collect my PVC by September 2017, which I complained seriously to them that the time distance for the PVC collection was too much. Can u believe that I went there by September, October, November, December and even January 2018, and the same card wasn't ready yet.

To you, is that not frustrating? Someone that have so many things doing at hand will leave what he is doing and be going to inec office everyday by day for complete one year because of ordinary PVC collection, abi?

The only thing I understand is that people are suffering and want a new beginning. I understand that tribalism cannot heal the battered economy, provide jobs, improve the value of the naira, insure security in the land, provide quality health care facilities, ensure good standard education, ensure that university students go back to school and restore our lost glory as a nation. I understand that tribalism cannot help us as a nation achieve all these. Peter Obi and the Labour Party is the alternative and a lot of people of various ethnic groups are supporting and will vote for him for this purpose. Some people are afraid of losing elections when a lot of people vote and they are frustrating people from exercising their franchise. It shows us something. But evil must bow before the good.

They are not 5% again.
Real Yorubas that cannot pay rent.
How many Yorubas can afford to live in Lagos and pay tax?
Even Sanwo Olu knows the economic implications of such decision.

People found at Unec offices are there for many reasons.
Some are there because of change of location , lost of pvc or to renew their damaged pvc. The last one is my own reason

so they shouldn't be given or should be punished because they didn't come long time ago for it??

this reasoning creates apathy. do Ur work happily and go. They should be happy that people are coming for PVC collection, but in Nigeria, public servants always use any chance to extort money.

My story of getting my Pvc at the same location.
I went there last year November to get my PVC at the same location. When I got to the premise of INEC, there was nobody at their office it was looking like a graveyard.
I had to look around before, I saw someone that inform me about the days, that they come to work in a week. I went back the following week and it was on a Tuesday to be precise and met that fellow in the video putting on brown behind the bar in the INEC office.
I told him that i want to get my PVC and he responded by saying, that i have to come back the following week and that the person in charge of the PVC is not around, that i should drop my details and we exchange numbers. I call the following week and he said i should come and get my PVC that it is ready went there that week and met only him in that office no other individual and i got my PVC. It took me three weeks to get my PVC when there was no pressure and now i wonder what people are experiencing right now. Every day when i pass the place i see people in their hundreds of queues waiting for INEC to come and open their gate and get their PVC. To be honest i think INEC is part of our problem. We always want to blame the electorate that they do not go early to get their PVC but when you go to that office there is nobody to attend to you. I think i was lucky to get my mind and it took me 3 weeks to get my PVC. I also believe they do it intentionally to keep people from exercising their rights and discourage them.

Give people their PVC, Lagos INEC commissioner should be sacked. He's compromised.
You won't get this kind of news in the North, some people in the north are even given their PVC in their house and shops. Here in the south we are begging them to give us our PVC and to register us.

God will punish them, all stupid politicians causing us this stress.

What makes you think it's only easterners that are going to collect their PVC?
Also, do you realise we're having the same difficulty collecting PVC in the East?
You guys talk foolishly sometimes. It's extremely easy to get PVC in the North. INEC gives it to the alhajis in each district, all you need to do is go to the house of the Alhaji where you registered you PVC and collect it.
They're disenfranchising you guys in the South but you don't care because you think they're only doing the Igbos
