According to their code of conduct, catholic priests are not supposed to be political but it’s clear that mbaka has violated that rule in many ways. The Alfa's case and Peter Obi's are two different cases entirely. While the Muslim cleric was right about Buhari cause his actions and inaction have directly had a negative impact to all which is vividly visible to all, inother words, he wasnt expressing an opinion, he was saying facts and void of politics. Mbaka's case was just pure malicious selfish political statement that had no basis, also he had been refrained and rebuked severally for talking politically and taking political sides but he seems to show himself unreproachable. He can resign from the catholic church and decide to go fully into politics, but he shouldn't keep dragging the catholic faith through the mud.

More verifiable is the fact that there are several pictures and stories of Peter Obi's generous traits all over the internet, and in particular to Mbaka's case, it is not the man didn't offer anything, he only refused to drop direct cash but wish to see a project he could sponsor. If not greediness, why take it personal! This man has dropped several hundreds of millions of naira to various projects and just because you don't have a project he could sponsor, Mbaka decided to go malicious. Serves him right.

I stopped attending Adoration when I realized that Mbaka was unwisely picking battles with politicians. And when those politicians know they cannot get him, they come after the worshippers and wreak havoc. This happened at the GTC field decades ago.

Father Mbaka is not bigger than the Catholic Church. If every priest in the Catholic Church had behaved like Mbaka, the universal church wouldn't have lasted for this long.
