The south easterners need to have a direction.
Let me state this Simon could be taken out by the federal government easily. But the federal government knows there would be another leader . Now the effects of the uprising will have effects on the politics. As it is the whole political elites knows at the back of their minds that the South easterner situation is a lose-lose situation even if they believe they have nothing to lose . Yet they subconsciously portray a south east president or Biafra tendency. And Biafra is opposing a South east presidency.
Sunday igboho tho fighting a just course could have escalated into terrorism if not for the timely intervention of Yoruba elders .
It's sad few Yoruba youths are following a bandwagon abusing their elders.
On the cases of Peter Obi candidacy, what influence does he have on his state or region. When we say he isn't fit we are not talking of physical strength. Don't just come and give data . What is his legacy . What's his take on IPOB/ESN UGM. What's his contribution asides speaking grammars to the half baked social media trend obsessed youths. Must he have a political power before he can make changes or is that the most important thing .
Tinubu without elective office was able to quench Sunday igboho's uprising and protected him as well ,Tinubu has always been an advocate for good governance before having a political office even against the toughest military head of states . It's time we remember elders were once youth .
