Besides, Nigeria's anti money laundering laws (not 'constitution') doesn't criminalise the mere possession of cash. It might regulate cash TRANSACTIONS over a certain threshold, but not the possession of cash in itself. Key words... Regulate and transaction. Because there are instances where cash transactions can be in the hundreds of millions or even billions and wouldn't necessarily be penalised. Otherwise, government would arrest and prosecute kidnap victims (including high ranking government officials and their family members) who pay hundreds of millions in cash as ransoms to kidnappers.

In any case, governments, companies and individuals all over Nigeria hold large sums cash which ithey may use to pay multiple small beneficiaries/work men/ contingencies, etc. You can gather N250m of your own money in your house. It is your right. [b] But maybe you can't use that whole amount to go and try to buy a N250m house. [/b]You can be pinching it in smaller amounts of N1m, N500k for smaller transactions. No crime would be committed and no anti money laundering laws would be breached.

Anyways election done reach so many people are looking to finally cashout and get their devidends of democracy that comes every election year.
People care more about their personal pocket than the growth of the country or stomach of their next door neighbour. Sadly we Africans especially Nigerians are still far from getting am ideal society

Obiano had immunity too until recently. Peter Obi's immunity expired at least eight years ago. But it's one of them that is in EFCC's custody.

He has granted many interviews claiming and attributing a lot; has signed documents out there proving a lot. He has been in Nigeria years after years. If his openness can't even help them build a case, check the foundation.

They day is coming after eight years and counting. It's alright. I hope it comes anytime within the next eighty years I may have on earth.
