The Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike appears to be on the verge of dumping the People's Democratic Party PDP and joining the APC.

In a video being circulated online Wike can be seen having a conversation with someone (presumably from APC) via a video call and telling them that he wishes to move to APC and giving conditions which would enable his move to be solidified.

He laid down conditions such as APC publicizing his move and giving assurances of what he and his people would benefit and how he would be placed.

The Video appears to have been done very recently although there is no time stamp.

We can recall how Wike despite puting in so much for the PDP ended up repeatedly being sidelined by the Party up till their most recent Precidential primaries and the choice of a VP candidate for Atiku.

Atiku need to check himself every time he has the chance miscalculation destroy him. One thing we must know is that politics is all about money. Atiku have beaten you because of him money. Mr wike think twice before the third slap. The will promise you minister to hold you down, if you like stay third slap loading……..

Joining APC is a total waste of time because Tinubu isn't going anywhere in 2023.

Even if Wike Joins APC, Rivers state Votes would still go for Obi, then Atiku will collect the remnants.

Tinubu won't see much votes from Rivers state.

Tinubu might eventually use his shaky hand and vote for Labour Party by mistake on election day

Wike may not join APC outrightly, but I am sure he will work against Atiku and PDP in 2023

Pdp and Atiku deserve more than that, When Atiku lost presidential ticket, immediately he vanished to Dubai for months if not year, leaving PDP in tatter and scattered, it was wike,who spearheaded and started spending money and energy to make pdp structure back to normal. When election nears the corner, Atiku rushed back home, despite that North spending eight years ,he still wants it to continuing, he hijacked structure and bribed his way to win election, having done that, he still foolishly not announcing Wike to be deputy even after party cabal voted in his favor.
