Job Title: Carpenter

Location: Lekki and its environs

Employment Type: Full-time

Qualification
The minimum qualification is Trade Test or SSCE with an additional training certificate

At least 4years of working experience as a Carpenter.

Requirements:
Proven experience as Joiner/ carpenter.

Must have Furniture Manufacturing Experience.

Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques

Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.).

Good knowledge of English.

Good understanding of basic math.

Good physical condition and endurance

Responsibilities:

Understanding technical drawings and how your work will fit within the building

Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp the requirements

Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of materials needed

Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material (e.g., fiberglass) according to measurements

Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items

Lay out floorings, roofing’s or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatible

Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items and install them where designated

Creating design drawings, alongside sketches of the work needed and the specifications

Cutting wood on machines or by hand

Working with suppliers and sub-contractors

Carrying out other carpentry tasks that may be assigned by the CEO

Salary:
Negotiable
