Not necessarily true.
What makes 2023 totally unique is that the youths are only interested in the presidential election, and I won't be surprised if they just vote for Peter Obi and go home.
Is there any law against it? Nope.
Not saying that Labor has no plans to field formidable legislative candidates, but that won't sway the peoples' focus about electing a president they trust.
If there is a credible trust worthy legislative candidate under any party, he or she will still be voted for.
But you see these habitual thieves? Lai lai, they will not win this time.
One of them just got caught in London for organ harvesting.
All of them will bite the dust this time!

Exactly. There’s no law that says you have to vote down ballot. Many people will simply tick peter Obi’s name and go home. Let them fight over senate matter themselves.

I did same thing the only time I ever voted in 2007. I only voted for Chris Okotie (Fresh party) and left the rest of the ballot blank. A completely wasted vote by the way. Because that guy turned out to be a real clown.

Peter Obi is a blessing to tinubu no doubt.
There's a reason presidential and senatorial election are held same day.
60% of voters are affiliated to one political party or individual.
Go and check previous results and you'll understand that whichever senator wins that ward, same applies to the presidential candidate of that party.
Na where Peter Obi loose out.
The only that is constant in life is change. 2023 no be 2019.

This man just aired his candid opinion which is apparent to the blind.
The followers of Obi are abusing him, must you malign whoever has different opinion?
Someone who doesn't know what he will eat today calling a billionaire all sort of names.
I can see that Obi is fairly a good man but his followers are hateful and evil and they are dangerous to the peace of this nation.
Obi has lost already, Nigeria is bigger than Igbos.

If the option we have is APC and PDP, then Nigeria has entered one chance. But I believe the unusual will happen. Don't be surprised to see lawmakers defecting to labour party because of the new movement that is obidient.

You just didn't say that!

If you know how party structure works, you wouldn't have committed that blunder.

Mr. Structure apostle, didn't Atiku Abubakar had more than enough structures in 2019 so why didn't that translate into electoral victory for him
Sometimes you people talk as if your have become hypnotized, hence unable to reason objectively.
In case you don't know, but let me still tell you that it is human beings that do vote at elections and not structures. So if the Nigerian masses have decided to rally round Peter Obi of Labour Party, so what is the noise about structure this, structure that after all even those with the so call structures at the end of the day still fall back on the Nigerian masses for votes.
Why can't you people just leave Peter Obi & his supporters alone and focus on your corrupt structure champion by corrupt money bags.

people should remember that peter obi joined LP as his last option. if he joined from the onset LP would have had more senatorial candidates than every other party. This particular should be a perfect strategy for future election if done on time.

Online base supporters always ignored a reasonable advise , are you people still without knowledge ? How on earth with the kind of politics practice in this part of the world can a candidate like Peter Obi win presidential election come 2023 without structure, many political analysts have said this time without numbers , like they say , if wishes were horses even the beggars will ride the most expensive ones, wishes is different from reality, you can’t get power by mere wishes it takes years of hard labor, mobilization, structures, loyalists that you have been there for in times of their needs too that can stand in gap for you irrespective of any situation or circumstances .

the same structure removing candidate name to field a non participant as flag bearer? if the population of tired Nigerian masses come to vote your structure will be rubbished inec will start recounting and postponing declarations concluding constructions transmission like our oga at the top nonsense

Re: Ned Nwoko: Labour Party Needs Control Of States To Make Obi President by TruthSocialAPP: 8:36am On Jun 24, 2022
The problem is most you talking about structure lack understanding. What structure did APC have at presidential level that made people voted for Buhari in 2015? The present generation is tired of voting old men. The movement is not about party but Obi's personality. The goal is making sure everyone votes Obi for president.

You are right but not always true. People are becoming wiser now to know the difference. Take Abia North for example.

Don't forget Obi movement is championed by enlightened youth. He may not win but he will put up a top fight.

Anytime I hear that Obi gaining political ground, I laugh. Hausa Fulani will never trusted an Igbo man with presidential power, quote anywhere. How is he going to win? No single State Governor, No Reps, No Senators and No structures on ground. Even if hr has it, Northern people don't trust Igbo because of their behavior. I say it again, the battle is BTW Tinubu and Atiku.
