FuckSilly: We are a disgrace to all black nations around the world. This is not a country to be proud off. And if we don't watch it, a time will come when anyone who addresses himself as a Nigerian outside the shores of this country will be laughed at and mocked hard. Na small remain. |

Even at 200naira we'll be in top 3 cheapest in the world. That u have crude oil doesn't mean selling at a loss, its actually stupid 1 Like 1 Share |

FuckSilly: Because Nigerians will insist on buying fuel from the refinery at a price below what it costs to produce that fuel...and then government will pay a subsidy that won't adequately cover the resulting loss. That is why Dangote has to sell fuel at a profit, otherwise, his refinery would break down due to losses. I mean, it costs over N250 to refine one liter of fuel. Why sell that fuel at N165.? Would you get enough profit to pay for the running and maintenance costs of any refinery built in Nigeria? |

subsidywise18:Stupid nonsense from pit of hell. Who told you that rubbish that it cost 250 to refine a litre of petrol? Some of you just fill your head with so much nonsense. How much is petrol in Russia, Saudi, Venezuela and other top oil producing countries? |

FuckSilly:Do tell.. Who told you that rubbish that it cost 250 to refine a litre of petrol? It is even an underestimate. Plus, assuming we refine fuel here, the cost would be high due to paying taxes, leasing costs, Niger delta costs, trasnport costs, etc etc etc. Niger republic does not have a subsidy and pays around N350 at the pump per liter. Some of you just fill your head with so much nonsense. Yah. How much is petrol in Russia, Saudi, Venezuela and other top oil producing countries? Venezuela: 10 naira. They also have lost their refineries (their largest went from refining 900000 to 100000 barrels per day, and they lose $18 billion dollars per annum to smuggling of the same petrol...and they have to import more and more petrol. Russia: N390.062 Saudi: 260 naira. BONUS: Cost of fuel in our neighbors 1.Niger: 350 naira.(oil producer...exports oil, refine it at home) 2.Benin: 403 naira 3.Cameroon: 437 naira 4.Chad: over 400 naira (oil producer). SAUCE |
