Typical I too know somebody. Sho sho sho na only me sabi.
Why on earth will you parboil an instant noodles ? Tell me.
Just so you know, instant noodles are made from wheat flour just like pasta, macaroni and spaghetti. The major difference is just that instant noodles are produced by passing the flour through RBD (Refined, bleeched and deodorized) Palm oil.
So parboiling noodles is like deliberately watching away the vitamins.
Ignorance and over sabi no go kill us.

I think the point they are trying to make is that if you must fry, you should per boil a bit to soften it and reduce stickiness and frying deeper. But they way they shame the cook who obviously enjoys her noodles this way is appalling.
