TODAY ON XAUUSD

Just at the close of the monthly candle we see a weekly high of 1840 and low of 1820, we've witnessed a huge drop on gold from 1880 price area down below 1805 with a massive bearish momentum.

Little hope for bulls, with a bullish flag in the optics in H4 we might see gold surpass the weekly high just a little above 1850 with sights to breach 1860, the question is would it hold ?

Fundamentals might play a decisive role on where gold migt tilt to this week either to the upside or a continuation below with Non-Farm Payrolls (NFP) due in just three days.

.73xx is my tp too but i didnt wanna bore everyone with lengthy projections so i broke it down .7100 first as .7100 is a good decisive zone too then .7300. Okay so you and abham are suggesting a taste of .68xx right? Beautiful that would be some sweet L for me and money247 if AUDUSD does that but for me, a confirmation of your move to .68xx first is a daily candle close engulfing friday daily candle and closing below .69280 or tuesday engulfing monday like that then a move to .6820-6800 is certain

From my experience and probably, that of some other traders here, determining the H1 trend {for instance} may not be the actual challenge in trading.

Even, if you are able to determine the H1 trend, how do you apply it in a fairly precise manner to guide a trade entry decision in the next hour or two or even, the near future?

Rather, determining if that H1 trend is ready to trend and from where it will trend is the real challenge; every other aspect can be learnt over time and experience.

Incidentally, these two are the actual edge that we look out for every trading day.

I will give a practical example, EURGBP {H1}, the favourite of one of our bosses, in the trade call below.

SELL: 0.8628
SL: 0.8636
TP: 0.8557

If and when it works or does not, then, will I start the series...By the way, I am the youngest learner here....contributions, interactions are welcome, let the debate begin, no vawulence, please...
