When the EFCC first arrested George Turner in 2017 for 4 Billion Naira NDDC fraud and embezzlement; hundreds of Yenagoa Aro-mates and Icelanders surrounded the office of EFCC in Yenagoa until an Ijaw EFCC official came out and explained how George Turner impoverished them.

When Mohammed Abacha was released by then President Obasanjo after he was charged for money laundering and robbery of public funds; thousands of Kano youths went to the Airport to welcome him. Many of these youths were so poor they came on barefoot and others had no shirt on.

This was the same reception James Ibori received in Delta State after he was released from prison for massively looting the treasury of Delta State. Till date, Delta is one of the less developed state in the oil rich Southsouth, despite being among top earners of Federal Allocation and oil derivation fund.

If you think Igbo people are supporting Peter Obi out of ethnic or regional sentiments, bring either Andy Uba, Ararume, Okezie Ikpeazu or Theodore Orji let's see how many Igbo people would tell you to vote any of these people because Power must come to Southeast by crook or fraudsters.
