Not bad, that same house here in Cambridge will not go for less than £1,600/pcm.

Do check gumtree/Facebook marketplace to get some good bargains while doing the furnishings. For free stuff, check Manchester Freegle to see what others are giving away for free that might be useful to you.

He rented the house, not owned.

Which licensed agency in the UK would rent a shared room with shared bathroom to him with his wife and 2 children?

Here in Cambridge, students are paying as much as £600 a month for a single room where they are sharing kitchen and bathroom, you just have work out how to be earning to pay your rent and associated bills.

Btw, why are you studying Clinical Child Psychology?

Are there career prospects in it that translates to good financial income or you're just doing it because it's your passion.

You don go do CID on top my head. cheesy

I have passion for children and adolescents, have always had keen interest in understanding the whys behind their feelings, thinking and behaviours.

Worked in a Child and Adolescent Psychiatric facility and it motivated me to do my specialty in it, thus my Msc in Clinical Child Psychology and hopefully, a professional doctorate later.

Career prospects is very bright with very cool take home pay as the skill is in high demand here in the UK and other countries like the US, Canada, Ireland etc because their systems invests heavily in the mental well-being of their young ones. Most importantly, it is fun working with young ones. cheesy

Learn to read before you speak so people don't laugh at your ignorance.

I stated that it is a 4brm terrace house and you can ask if you don't understand what it means.

Sir, I will be coming to the university of Salford for September intake. I will land next month God willing. Do you mind giving me a space in your apartment for my wife and I? We will pay you monthly accordingly sir. I’m confused on how to go about my accommodation

The UK has a way of bringing out people’s intolerance streak due to differences in advancement and money!

The only people you are able to live without problems are pastors and ministers of Christ who has forgiven you and your wife of your shortcomings before you even commit them.

Take it from me, 98% of Nigerians need reorientation. Give yourself time to adapt first.

Go to right move and start looking if you have money.
If you plan to manage, go to gumtree and start searching for private landlords.

The wide view you see is not a house, it’s a block of houses and yes they rented one of the houses.
The houses are joined together unfortunately making it look as if they rented a small corner.

Joined or terraced houses are rare in Nigeria so you are not expected to understand.
Be a blessing!
