Northerners Will Not Vote Peter Obi Because of Biafra —Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso “Unfortunately, there are many issues in the South East, and a northern voter is the worst-hit in this issue of maladministration in this country,” he asserted. “But even under that circumstance, a northern voter also believes that he is better with one united Nigeria. “Therefore, most of the things that are happening in the South, especially in the South East; people are not comfortable with that and as long as you have somebody from there in any party, it will be very difficult for the northern voters to vote, and that’s the situation now.” Cc: Channels Television 5 Likes 3 Shares

*Peter Obi's Presidential Ambition Is Deadlocked ~Uche Ekwunife* The Senator representing Anambra Central in the 9th Assembly Senate has said that the presidential ambition of Mr. Peter Obi is deadlocked. Reacting through her media Aide, Kingsley Ubani, the Senator reacted on the comments of the NNPP Presidential Candidate, Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso who claimed that some Northerners will never support Peter Obi as the Presidential Candidate but will vote him when Peter Obi becomes his running mate. Ekwunife through her Media Aide made the mocking statements claiming that without the alliance of NNPP and Labour Party, Peter Obi's quest to rule Nigeria will meet a dead end. Recall that few months ago, Sen. Ekwunife was chided by the people of Anambra State because of his utterances against the same Peter Obi during her Town Hall meeting of Anambra Central Stakeholders. Though her Media Aide denied the story by claiming that the Journalist who reported the event was paid to frame the story against her. The same Media Aide has come up with another mocking statement on the failure of alliance between Kwankwaso and Peter Obi. With the statements, it is obvious that Sen. Ekwunife is celebrating the fallout of the progress made by Peter Obi calling it "a deadlock and may never happen" 1 Like

This is very stupid talk from Kwankwaso, the issue of Biafra is a very sensitive and touchy one for the Igbos and this goes beyond just Nigerian politics, yet Igbos are the biggest unifiers of the One Nigeria project. Go to any part of Nigeria today you will see Igbos in their tens of thousands thriving and doing their businesses peacefully with their host communities, all the major businesses and markets in Lagos alone are dominated by Igbos. The North and SW have ruled Nigeria for more than 3 decades already, and these two regions are collectively responsible for why Nigeria is in such a sorry state today despite been in power all these years...since the Northern and SW experiment have failed woefully to lift Nigeria from the doldrums of insecurities,poverty and economic downturns, why not give an Igbo man a try at least? it's not farfetched that the only time Nigeria enjoyed great governance at all levels was when an Igbo man (Alex Ekwueme) held power with a Northerner (Shehu Shagari). The North/ South west power sharing formula has been a colossal disaster for Nigeria.. yorubas are just very poor when it comes to leadership qualities...na only OBJ even try pass as a yoruba man. 6 Likes 1 Share |
