Six Nigerian inmates pardoned in Thailand but still held in Kirikiri Maximum Prison, Lagos, have been set free.

PREMIUM TIMES reported that eight inmates repatriated from Thailand to complete their prison terms at home are being held in the facility, over a year beyond their release dates.

The inmates include: Wasiu Amusan, Napoleon Mba, Obi Titus, Gloria Ogbonna, Henry Azukaeme, Okpala Chukwubike, Kennedy Tanya and Yakubu Yauza.

A few days ago pictures hit the internet of Tinubu with the Gilbert Chagoury and family at a restaurant in France.

Gilbert Chagoury, is a Lebanese-Nigerian and according to his Wikipedia page,

Gilbert Ramez Chagoury (born 1946) is a Nigerian billionaire businessman,diplomat and philanthropist, who lives in Paris, France. He has been implicated in election fraud and election interference in the United States for contributing money to Congressional re-election campaigns despite American laws that prohibit foreign nationals from contributing to U.S. elections.

This is the same man Bola Ahmed Tinubu, went to have meetings with in France.

This same Chagoury convinced Abacha to pick Tinubu as his VP in his failed transition to civil rule.

Can you explain why a supposedly pro Democracy advocate like Tinubu will have Chagoury as his major contractor when he was governor of Lagos state?

This was the same Chagoury that carried out the first 1bn per kilometer road project in the world under Tinubu's LASG.

That will put the 30km Lekki Ajah project of #30bn at $300ml. Each kilometer costing $10mil.

Go and reaerch how much a km of road costs on average globally and you will see it is hovering between $500k to less than a million USD and this is as a result of inflation, high diesel costs and supply chain issues.

Back then, a km of road would not cost up to $500k.
