Imagine back then, if Soludo were to contest for the position of president, just like present Obi, the whole social medias would have tried to portray him as a saint for us, and we might definitely believe them, just see what is happening now. Is Soludo not young? Is Soludo not educated? Is Soludo not vibrant?
Politics is more than all these aforementioned, people that are supporting Obi should think it well, what if he happened not to be the Messiah they all hope for? But anyway, he might definitely have a good reason for doing that. I pray such a reason to yield positively and be a welcome development.

Soludo is a professor of Economics, so none of you guys including them knows budgeting, planning and expenditure more than him.

Wait first to hear from Soludo why he did so.

But i heard a lot of padding was going on in the budget under former governor obiano, so maybe they thought it was business as usual with Soludo

Confusion don enter soludo head .Anambra state since creation in 1976 is the most difficult state to govern.Just like Nigeria because the top people do not want progress for the poor.Ngige almost succeeded but they drove him out after 36 months. On record people are still baffled how Peter Obi was able to succeed in such state. Not only that he opened up access to amenities, built mighty teaching and general hospitals, state and federal secretariat, expanded the state university from 3 buildings to world class, constructed roads that linked all 166 communities together, made Anambra number 1 in education for 4 years in a row, improved sewage disposal, agriculture, security etc .He was the first man to do 8 years in the state
I'm also supporter of Obi but honestly bringing up lies like this and baseless Fabrications to entice people to vote for him is uncalled for

Majority of them will become apprentices in OMATA.

Lol for your information I don't stay in Lagos nd Lagos isn't the only state in SW cos I can't bare with Lagos stress and the holdup so I moved out of Lagos to another SW states..

But before I try a new state the internet is there for me to navigate see people reviews and look at the policy the state Govt is running if is affordable and see how there citizens are doing if I check all this and see that there citizen are trooping out of the states that shows something is wrong somewhere.....

There are some states now to get C of O is so easy while some states you will go through hell all this are factors for investors or land buyers..

Some states WAEC exams are free all this little little factors have a role...

Even recently Soludo still talk am say people living outside Anambra are more than the one living inside the states....

So I believe they need to work on some policies that will attract people to stay and some to start coming back home to invest....

As Borno or Zamfara be war torn zone sef there citizen wey dey outside no reach the one living in the state....

If this is true, then Soludo must have a solid reason for doing it.
Maybe they've been budgeting N3.23 billion, but actually using N1.1 billion while stealing the rest.
No smoke without fire!

You're all finding a reason to justify cutting the budget of education when the UN recommends far more. I've realized that anyone the people love cannot commit a blunder.

Kai! You got it!
Some uninformed will start shouting that he does not value education.

In civil service, everything is inflated! If possible, stone sef.

You are telling us that the way to fix education and everything that is inflated is to cut education budget by more than 50%? There are about 5.5million people in Anambra. I don't know the student population but if we divide the population by 5 assuming 5 people in a family that is about 1.1 million family. if you have 2 school age per family you will have about 550K school age population. The 1.1billion is an average of #2000 per student per year. Given that my math is not scientific but rudimentary hence may not be 100% accurate, allocating #20,000 per child education is still far cry for what is needed for an average education.
We should stop defending politicians fallacious excuses when they make policy mistakes especially those that we support. It is through education that we can help our people.
If he wanted to fight fraud in the system, let him fight fraud to the benefit of the people. This is not the way to do it.

As a professor in Economics, they are not happy that Soludo will be running the State based on real data instead of padded numbers. Let's work with the slashed budget first and see if there is any significant difference. All the loopholes for malfeasance must be plugged.

/
Now you are getting the point. Numbers have always been inflated and it is from the population that they start. I was really shocked on realising from recent data from JAMB, NCC, INEC and telcos that the Igbo population is low. So I stand with Prof Soludo on this if it is because he realised that the population of staff and pupils in the education sector has been inlfated.

Peter Obi is not Messiah but the only candidate who doesn't care about the Nigerian politics money because he is already super rich but want to do his best to see Nigeria work.

Remember his word, I will rather do the right thing and loose than to win doing the wrong thing.

You people should wake up and stop all this nonsense. Believe it or leave it you can't compare him with PDP or APC candidate when it comes to someone with interest of Nigeria at heart
