Ayinde actually delivered today, Chikwelu wasn't in the game. Ajibade should have distributed balls more than always trying to dribble but at least she tried today.

The Onumunu is a baller. She is experienced and have confidence in passing over defenders

Payne kept her position very well and she wasn't selfish with ball distribution .

Our then youngest goalkeeper Chiamanda is now matured. That free kick could have been a goal..

Those Botswana sabi play long kick sha. They beat Burundi 4 -2. They have now conceded 4 goals making 0 goals aggregate. They can't beat the SA in their last match as those ladies are formidable. They are the favourite for this tournament

Ashoala was becoming a distraction to the team but her absence will make the difference. Players were always looking for her with the ball. Other players will shine as the falcons progresses in the competition.

Yes I played football and I still play. With the exception of Onumonu, Payne, Alozie, Oluehi, others need to wake up. Onumonu, Payne and Alozie have been consistent. Others need serious improvement. Again Falcons should rise above this. They haven’t attained the height expected of them and you shouldn’t be deceived by the 2-0 victory over Botswana.

The problem with the Nigeria team is they have not been playing together.

Considering the way they held possession and distributed passes, they could have made use of long passes if they are used to be playing together.

In the last 5 years, falcon had struggled against South Africa. If this was Mercy Akide’s and Perpetua Nkwocha’s team, I’d say yes, we will thrash South Africa but this is a different falcons.

In 2018 women AFCON, South Africa beat Nigeria 1-0, we triumphed against zambia and Equatorial Guinea to meet Cameroun in the semifinals…again Falcon struggled against the indomitable lioness. We beat Cameroun on penalties before meeting South Africa again. Falcons were lucky because South Africa in my opinion dominated the midfield like they did few days ago but Nigeria beat them on penalties to lift the trophy.

I think we should have the best team in the continent. We’ve not seen the best of Oshoala, Ajibade, Ayinde, Kanu etc.

Ayinde is a baller when she’s in form, great addition to the midfield and I do hope we get the best out of her. Ajibade is young, athletic, lots of juggling skills which I hope she’s able to bring into her game. She’s slim, well built, fit, can run but for some reasons, she appears inhibited when she’s playing. I believe that she can turn things around and be a game changer. I think we haven’t seen up to 60% of what she can do…she just need to stay focused and show more confidence in her game.

I’m not very confident in the ability of this foreign coach. Not much has changed since he came in and not much has changed since the French girls whooped us 8-0. Falcons have struggled not just against South Africa but also against Cameroun, Ghana and lately Ivory Coast.

They need to find their scoring boots. Falcons will be embarrassed if they played against Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Netherland, Canada, Austra, Belgium, Japan…let’s not mention USA and England.

south AFrica are better currently so tone down... Make falcon qualify for world cup as for the trophy they can't win it... It's Left for NFF to build female league and stop this nonsense of always employing foreign coach...

When i learnt she was out of the tournament, i lept for joy. Oshoala doesnt give a quarter in national colours as she does in barca shirt.

On her first match she just had serious injury ..she was flown to Spain for operation .
