It always pays to learn the official language of the country you find yourself in, and a little or much of the local language there. You'll never know how far it can go for you. There are more opportunities open to those who can understand or have a grasp of the surrounding language. Good one, OP. Success doesn't come on a platter of gold. |

dierich:Sure, you will. Setlinn.com focuses on migration topics, including how to study, work and live abroad. Also, you will find many relevant posts/articles on the Gist and Explore sections. Just take some time to read what other people are sharing. |

Lovelydaisies:I couldn’t agree more with your response. The main secret to success abroad, is speaking the native/official language. You may succeed without it, but with the language your opportunities are limitless - you will have more doors opened for you. Of course, not everyone is good with learning a foreign language, but if you are willing, there’s always a way out. Wherever you find yourself abroad, take the local language seriously. Nigerians have been representing nicely in diaspora! Am proud to be one! |

Louis8796:You have to take care of your feeding and accommodation; the school provides hostels for rent, but not food for chop. Scholarship are provided by organizations - private and public. You can apply for them to study in most universities. So, it is the other way round - scholarship from organizations to study in most universities. Here’s a link to a recent post about scholarships in Germany, Erasmus, the highest offering organization in Europe https://setlinn.com/study-work-abroad/p/6478/ |
