cylindrical lifepo4 will be better suited for the voltage type in 2s config, with BMS of course. 18650 in 1s had a voltage range of between 3.0v to 4.2v which is too low for the battery and 6.0v to 8.4v for 2s which will be too much for the fan. But lifepo4 2s will be between 6.0v to 7.2v which is perfect for your fan use

went online to check for the lifepo4 battery and understands its on 3.2v. My questions are (1) will the 18650 cell 6.0v to 8.4v cause any defect on the fan? (2) how much are the lifepo4 cell sold for? (3) the battery cell states 6000mah, so can we say just a cell can matchup the fan original battery

You will need between 2 & 3 in parallel to match the old battery's capacity, You can go with more cells to have longer runtime. Saw some batteries for sale on Jiji

A good place to start is looking at the capacitors inside, a clear picture will be good

I also got the the FAT 160Ah Full River based on your review the following week or so.

Wanted to know if it is still serving you well as mine has dropped its glove o as it no longer retains its charge for long.

Using today as an example, the battery got full around 2pm or so and right now, its already at 11.1V (inverter reading) or a bar (solar charger indicator) with a load of less than 100W (rechargeable fan and a mac laptop).

Is there a way to salvage the battery or do I need to get another one?

How many watts is the led TV (check the back of the TV)
U don't overload it or the battery won't last long.
U can plug the home theater dvd player to it but don't add the home theater woofer ,the woofer will drain ur battery fast.
Its only a 40ah battery, Do not overload it or unless u want to add more 12v 40ah battery to it , I Have been using it for 4 months now, the only newest thing I bought is the smart Charger which I bought last week,

Max load is about 350W (two laptops, TV, decoder and a rechargeable fan).

When the sun is down, I switched to jst a laptop, a fan, and a led light (14w)

Suoer 20A charger and a 50A solar charge controller.

don't know what to say anymore, the way u use ur battery might affect it, e.g when ever there's no light and I have used my battery upto 12.1v or 12.0v, I put off my inverter, over usage might be the problem, if the battery no enter 0.0v we won't put off the inverter, I sent a link some months ago concerning this, if ur charger, inverter doesn't have the voltage calculator, get the device from oshodi, when there's no light,It reads the remaining voltage or power left in ur battery, we are in rainy season,so there's no much sunlight to charge,
if u were living close to me I would have borrowed u one of my desulfating charger to see if it will help, if u needed more time u should have bought more batteries and connected in parallel, but now it's late cos ur current battery is already gone and if u can't, manager what u have and it will last,if u use a battery power down to 11.v regularly, u will kill the battery

Boss, I try to maintain the 50% DoD most of the time.

And I usually charge it every night. D only load on it post gen is just a fan and my phones.

The times I don't charge it at night, the only load on it overnight is just my phones and a rech. fan.

The reason it got to 11.1v still got me perplexed cos there was no significant load on it overnight .. Just woke up to see it that way.

That being said, would getting a new 200ah work fine?

I have a 40 inch TV but I still got a small 15inch TV with lower watts, my big TV can be on , if I have visitors to show off to but asides that ,when there's no light my 15imch is on....na the same thing go show for screen , until NEPA brings back light, ur 14w bulb is how many? I have 6 led bulb In my house, I don't put them on unless I need it and they are 3w each, u laptop brightness and contrast can be reduced,as long as u can see the screen, it helps reduce the full watts of the device, including ur TV shouldn't be on full power, reduce brightness and contrast and colour and if ur battery nisnt upto a year since purchase, call them and see if it can be replaced, good luck

Just one 14W bulb (panel led light).. The rest are less than 10W. And I only switch on one when working.

My battery should be 15 months now.
