The Christians that are really at play here are SW Christians and trust me not only are they only half of the SW yoruba population, many of them are beneficiaries of the APC, I know numerous popular SW pastors who collect contracts from the APC at state and federal level, you just never hear. We know how they will vote!!!!’ At the end of the day, those Christians who would have voted Tinubu and will vote for Atiku or OBI because of MUslim Muslim are not many!!! At least not amongst yorubas in the SW!!!!

In the north, out of of over 100m people, only 10m are Christians

In the south, the Christian strongholds of SE and SS are largely opposition territory.

In the SW, 1) religion is less of an issue 2) half of yorubas are Muslims and many like yourself were probably not going to vote for him anyway.

So tell us wxactly how the Christian votes he will lose in the SW ( yes he will lose some) will make any significant difference?

This is the first time in my lifetime that Nigerian elections are being contested on the issue of religion and to my surprise politicians think Christians are so weak minded they can manipulate them with religion.

Most of these politicians will gladly live in UAE, which is run by muslims

The 20% like you and I are the ones who may vote based on other considerations. The problem with the 20% in the case of the yorubas is that they are 20% of 50%! So already before you switch your vote, you are only 10% of which maybe 2% will actually switch so your vote doesn’t matter!!!!

He has called the bluff of all Nigerian Christians, he has drummed home clearly that SS n SE are not relevant and he has even dared many Northern Christians residing in the north and he just told over 60Million Nigeria Christians that they are bunch of inconsequential citizens.

A Muslim-Muslim ticket is an insult to fairness, equity and justice. A total disregard for the unity of our nation at a time when tension is at its peak, an insensitive move, a pungent and odoriferous impunity of the worst kind.

A clear pointer that Tinubu does not believe in one Nigeria, a clear indication that he is only a frustrated desperado who will stop at nothing in the bid to achieve his aim even if he has to tow the path of devisiveness.

One tends to wonder if there is no competent northern Muslim to create the balance.

This move is a miscalculated one, Borno is already an APC state and he wrongly calculated that fielding another Muslim will gamer support from the north but unfortunately, the northerners are not fools, they can see that it is only a desperate move which will be counter productive for him.

Tinubu has finally outdone himself. Even rigging won't help him.
