I Was Paid Only N5K For Some Of The Movies I Acted in The Past" - Actor, Kenneth Aguba Reveals Legendary actor, Kenneth Aguba recently made headlines after photos of his poor living condition were shared online. Several Nigerians spoke about how they couldn't believe that he could end up in that situation. Shortly after the news went viral, the founder of OPM, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere intervened and brought him over to Port Harcourt where he was given medical attention at the OPM free specialist hospital. He was recorded live on Facebook while he was being taken to the house that was given to him by Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, and he said a lot of things. He was asked a lot of questions and he made sure he provided answers. Kenneth Aguba was asked about his time in the movie industry, and he revealed that he acted a lot of movies at different locations in Nigeria. He also said that he began his career as an actor back in 2003. However, he revealed that he was being paid very little in a lot of movies. According to him, he has received just N5000 naira severally for his role in movies. 5k back then no be small money but no be say na one big money also Thank God for for the new set of actors, actresses and musicians. They are working and earning good money unlike the old legends that really suffered. Social media really helped these new set of actors and actresses and now some are mixing acting with doing skits and cruise to gain more Popularity. Legendary actor indeed and for real? Why are Nigerians fond of this bandwagon and herd-mentality effect? Always quick to jump on a trending issue or topic even when they aren't convinced about it deep down within them? What sort of hypocrites are we as a people? I'm happy this man got the help that he deserved but heck, they need to slow down on the daily trashy trends.
