Only one day rain, the entire island and major parts of mainland are flooded. People lost their cars, some their lives and many were seen swimming in floods in Lagos state.

It has been projected by maritime agencies that third week of this month will witness 5 days torrential rainfall in Lagos state. Only God knows what will become of residents of Nigeria's commercial center if this happens.
