I can easily volunteer to be in charge of the money..but trust issues may spring up.

I think a whatsapp/telegram group would be best for this. That way we can fix a time when everyone interested would be available and discuss it. Because Nairaland 1, 1 post types won't work well in my opinion. The members won't have that feeling of belonging and also the ease of contribution.

What do you guys think?
