BREAKING: Shop Owners Storm Osun Govt. House, Demand Immediate Payment Of Compensation



Owners of shops and houses at MDS, Olaiya and Fakunle axis of Osogbo metropolis, on Monday protested at the Government House, Osogbo, over the non-payment of their compensation by the State Government of Osun.



The protesters carried several placards with varying inscriptions including, “Gov. Oyetola, We Waited Enough, Please Do The Needful, Pay Us Our Compensation,” “Pay Our Compensation, Many of Us Are Dead,” to press home their demands.



Addressing newsmen, the protesters said their buildings were demolished in 2013 by the state government, arguing that since Governor Adegboyega Oyetola was the Chief of Staff to the Governor at the time, he is complicit in the demolition, and should understand their plight.







They accused him of taking them for granted despite their support for him and now want that to end.



Monday’s action is the latest in the series of protests following the one that took place on June 7, this year.

PDP is 100% the most serious party in Osun

Though PDP won the election in 2018 before the roforofo fight of the inconclusive election at Ife area that brought Omisore into APC fold. That fight was not an election but coercion or by force victory.

We all know APC lost that election from Ijesa area. This time around, I believe the Ijesa people will vote APC massively. You cannot trust them, they have strong will for nothing not minding the consequences, but the Traditional rulers, the high chiefs and old politicians (DEMO / Fadahunsi & Bola Ige era) still alive should plead with Ijesa to vote wisely.

The IFE area should keep their votes intact for OMISORE who is the APC Secretary.

PDP chance at the polls would not be as bright as it was under Aregbesola. APC is winning Osun by wide margin.

If the governor has worked very well. He should be voted for. But if he's a failure like Okezuo, Ortom, Ayade and Bello. Then he should be disgraced out from that government house

I didn't really follow Osun politics but seems the governor did a few things then went commatose. Also the governorship debates revealed the candidate whose "mandate he stole" as a better leader than the rest.

But mostly the governorship will be a close call between PDP and APC. The PDP candidate is also a pure but rich joker with lots of popularity

You are very wrong. Firstly, Pdp will win most lg in ijesha axis . The biggest lg Obokun is under pdp control . Pdp got power power broker in ijesha and that's why Apc needs Aregbe over there. The two Atakumosa will be shared. Obokun and Oriade are natural pdp ground. Also Ilesa west or east will be shared too.

In ife axis, it won't be smooth ride for Omisore and Apc. Omisore will deliver his lg, Ife East , but it won't be that massive votes he always deliver. The Modakeke will checkmate him in his lg. In ife central , this is largest lg , this is where both parties will target most and if possible they will spend huge in this lg. Omisore can also win this but it won't be that massive votes as usual. Pdp will surely win ife north while ife south will be deliver to Apc. I know this cos' it my town

If dem say make sickness come out, catarrh go follow come out. Who's Osinbajo the Judas in politics? He's just an opportunist. Who is he and he finished behind Amechi as a VP? Was he needed in Ekiti b4 APC won? No literate person in Osun will vote a JSS2 student contesting for state governor. It's an insult to good people of Osun.
