Since 1999, Borno and Yobe states have never voted for a PDP Governor. The other states in that zone have had PDP governors. Adamawa and Taraba has been traditional PDP states even at the presidential level and GEJ won these two states. The NE except adamawa and taraba had consistently voted for candidate buhari and not the party. But in their states, they vote PDP except Borno and yobe. In 2023, there will be no candidate buhari in the ballot. Atiku is from the NE and with their solidarity for a NE president, he will take that zone. Peter obi will do well in taraba and areas in the NE with Christian communities. So wipe that smirk off your face cos it’s not yet uhuru.
