On Reddit, 99% of TV shows subreddits have one sub. Game of Thrones is one of the few outliers that has multiple subs due to the infighting amongst fans.

As in start all the way from Season 1..

Or is it that type of series that you can start from anywhere and still get the hang of it?

Or better still can you recommend any great medical series..

I have a couple in mind.

*Good Doctor.
*The residents.

That has been the goal from S2. Homelander been the "main vilian" is pretty set in stone now. S3 had a pretty tight writing with the Soldier boy arc but they almost didn't stick a proper landing with that finale. They have like 2 more seasons to go to round everything up imo, any stretch more than that could see the show become sour quick.

Shows of these days simply do not have the onions and flair to make 8-10 good seasons of the same show...writers these days aren't that good.

r/asoia was the first GoT sub to be created. It precedes the show and was originally created so that fans of the books could meet and discuss the books.

When the show first aired, HBO established r/gameofthrones as the hub for all GoT-related discussions. Then squabbles erupted among fans, and in part due to the sub's strict moderation, a group broke off to form r/freefolk, where they can express themselves freely without being banned.

If there was no breakaway group, the total number of members of r/gameofthrones would be closer to 4.5m, excluding r/asoia (which has always been a separate sub), and a few neutral fans like myself who are subscribed to both r/gameofthrones and r/freefolk.
