Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has suggested a way to end the ongoing strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.

If you can calculate what is spent on politics,you will realise that this country can easily afford to meet the financial demands of ASUU with regards to our public university system.

If you can calculate what is spent on Senators, of which Shehu Sani was a member, as allowance for 4 years you will realise that this country can easily afford to meet the financial demands of ASUU with regards to our public university system.

You see, this country won't move forward until we accept we are part of the problem and resolve to sincerely be part of the solution.

I bet, if Shehu Sani sees another opportunity, he will go to the Senate primarily to make money full time and make laws part time. Notice, that since he is unable to go back to the Senate, he like Dino Melaya, has been managing portfolio of investments made from humongous allowances earned. In his spare time, he will tweet to maintain intellectual relevance. Outside, he has done absolutely nothing to contribute socially to the society.

Do they look like they care when their own children are outside going to school in a well organised country while there fathers keep sucking up our future to better their own children's lifes ,forgetting that God SEES ALL ,KNOWS ALL ,AND WILL REWARD EVERY MAN ACCORDING TO HIS DEED HERE ON EARTH

Very obvious. How much did the agf stole? Over 200bn, how much was borrowed to build a rail line to maradi in Nigeria republic? Over $1bn, how much is ASUU asking for? Less than 200bn.

The truth is that this government does not priortise education reason why they have not settled ASUU. A government where the president is ruling with a nepa bill and the flagbearer did not attend primary and secondary schools, Nigerians shouldn't expect much.

But we can right the wrongs of 2015 by voting peter obi who is a lover of education come 2023

In another news if you have a browsing gadget and access to internet as a student in this ASUU strike period and you are not earning even @least $5 daily via online with those viable assets then you are most unwise.
There are thousands of earning means available on the online space which has a community of over 1billion active users that are real and active and need one service or product or the other ......imagine having just a chunck of 100 of them converted to your clients or customers and you deliver with a pegged profit of $2 even if it's monthly that's $200 cash outs on a monthly and the good news is that you can grow your clientele/ customers exponentially.

My elder brother is a senior lecturer (2) that lives in a rented apartment own by my 29yr old friend, who's getting more than 3million annually from house rent... own a lexus rs 350, a farm, a fish pond, another house in the village, etc

u didn't face the topic but totally went off point. People like u are one of the people giving all this politicians mouth. He is talking about ASUU and government and stating the obvious fact, but because u are getting small change from the current government, u decided to reason like a toddler. The person that stated this, is he Igbo or ipob and why should any sensible individual be satisfied with the current happening in our country.
