They should have asked your friend to lick the spot he urinated on. Useless indisciplined pig.

Warning him does not remove the piss from the gutter.

Making him clean the gutter actually removes the piss from the gutter and teaches him a lesson not to do it again. It is a more effective approach.
that's why they are always looking frustrated.

Have you been to the Ikeja cantonment before? That place has a lot of bushes that one can urinate in.

Are you saying you don't urinate anywhere else except in your own home? Like when you go out and you are pressed, you will hold on until you get back home?

Even soldiers and policemen urinate outside. But I don't expect much from you.
You created this thread to hear people's opinions. They are telling you the truth. You have refused to accept it, so what's the point of the thread? Oga your friend was wrong. It is only proper to urinate in rest rooms. A so called master's degree holder should know that and learn to ask for directions. You cannot just walk into a barrack of all places and move around anyhow, it is not your house. I still know civilized men that never pee in any open space no matter how pressed they are. The soldiers did too much, yes. Your friend was still wrong. Know that and know peace.

So, my friend that does Bolt got a request to go pick a rider inside the cantonment.

When he got in, he was pressed so he decided to urinate inside a gutter there.

Some soldiers saw him urinating and said he was not supposed to urinate inside the barracks. Like what is wrong in urinating inside that their dirty barracks as far as it's not at an inappropriate place.

That's how they started punishing him, asking him to wash their smelling toilets, mob their guard room and all sorts of humiliating tasks.

This my friend is a masters student at unilag but doing Bolt to hold body together while the strike lasts. Whereas, the dirty soldiers that gave him that punishment might be abokiii SSCE holders.

I was furious when he told me that. The other time I drove into that cantonment to pick a rider, I was driving and talking to the person I came to pick when this soldier tried to stop me, I just zoomed passed him like I didn't even see him. I'm sure if I had given him attention, he would have wanted to start his madness.

Funnily, the rider my friend went to pick canceled on him and of course booked another ride. I was once taking some people into the cantonment and they were laughing about how the first driver they booked canceled when they told him they were going to the army cantonment. I don't have fear for anybody. I drive in and out of the barracks whenever I get a rider to or out of there.

I don't know why Nigeria soldiers feel it's okay to always oppress civilians at the slightest opportunity. I guess that's the only consolation they have for the Ill care they receive from the system.

If any of your family members is a soldier, advise them to be different.
You also need to stop calling them dirty soldiers. A bolt driver is also doing a dirty hustle if you look at it that way.

Educated illiterate. Everything is wrong with that act

You are not supposed to urinate inside any gutter whether in cantonment or anywhere. Embrace mobile/public toilets

There's a department in each barracks that handles civilian-military relationship. ,This bothers on molestation, Quarrels and all what nots as long as it's between civilians ND Military.
Let your friend locate the department and go report the officers involved..He should keep the date and time that happened and the location handy. With this the handlers of the case would know who and who were on duty that very day and pick them out. If found guilty, they will be punished by the MPs there.

It's just epic that you saw nothing wrong with your friend urinating in a public place... Some country would have charged him for public exposure....It attracts up to $660 or 3 months imprisonment..

Your friend is a reflection of you.
Look at the rubbish you put up here. You drove into a military environment and you were trying to be stopped by a soldier who is doing his job making sure that security threat do not enter into the military environment and instead of you to stop and know why you were being stopped, you felt too big and instead zoomed off.
If you were shot at now, you would have come here to rant about how you were just driving and some soldiers shot you (that's if you even made it out alive).

You were lucky it wasn't the Nigerian Police. You would have been shot at because you acted like a security threat.
Knowing the kind of person you're from this your useless write-up, I can confidently say that you're not even telling the truth about what that your "master degree holder" friend did.

You're a proud mofo. You and your friend.
You couldn't stop to be searched because you felt too big for the soldier.
You had to input your friend's academic qualifications because you think he is better than the soldiers.
You think every Nigerian Soldier is an illiterate?
Let me even shock you.
Many Nigerian soldiers are HND, Bsc and Master degree holders both in the officer and non officer's cadre.
Before you're even promoted as a soldier to another rank whether in the officer or non officer cadre, you must have attended some military courses and some of these courses range from 6 months to 12 months.

Yes, we have some people whether in uniform or not who behave like mad people but you shouldn't give people cause to treat you bad.
Go and tell your friend to drive into a DSS barracks and urinate in the gutter.
You yourself drive into a police or DSS barracks and when you are trying to be stopped, just zoom off and that's when you will see the real definition of madness.

Mad man.

You're as stupid as your father who born you.

I have passed through the security checkpoint at the gate. It was not any soldiers responsibility to stop someone inside the barracks but at the entrance and exit, that's where the security check happens.

Yes, it takes only an illiterate to do what those soldiers did. It's fools like you that give these small recruits the power to intimidate civilians.

The other day, I was walking the girl that visited me to the bus stop when one recruit like that that wanted to humiliate me before the girl because the girl is a pretty girl, tried to stop me.

The mofo was wearing camouflage and whistling/signaling for me to stop but I refused to stop even when I heard and saw him clearly.

He followed me for some minutes and even was getting tired when the people around started shouting "he's calling you" because of the obvious fear cowards like you have for men in uniform. They were afraid for me that I was ignoring a military personnel, in their small minds.

I stopped anyway and the guy came close and said that I pushed him when I passed him. It was like a film to me as I didn't see this guy anywhere close to the road when I was passing.

To fulfill all righteousness, I just told him "Sorry" while looking into his eyes, man-to-man.

He then said that I should go. The confidence alone scared him from doing anything funny.

Continue to be a pussy, okay? Cowards die many times before their death. If the soldiers don't want civilians into their barracks, they should ban all civilians from entering there. You can't have a barrack with schools and other institutions meant for civilians yet you will not tolerate behaviors from civilians or will be quick to give civilians military punishment.

Folly is never bravery and assumption is the lowest level of intelligence.
You know everything right? You just cannot wait to find out the actual reason why you were being called or asked to stop your vehicle but you continued your movements because you think them inconsequential.
You think stopping to listen to what a security personnel on uniform has to say to you is cowardice and ignoring him is bravery.
Your strong dislike for the Nigerian military and your derogatory comments directed at personnel of the Nigerian Military is not bravery.
You think it's all about you right?
You think arrogance is bravery right?
You think common sense is fear right?
Continue.

If I am stopped by a security personnel wither while driving or walking especially as a civilian in a military environment, I would first stop because I am a law abiding and responsible citizen. I will not be so arrogant as to assume why I am being called or stopped or be so arrogant and foolish to look down on them and continue my movement.

I don't know why I am being called or asked to stop. It could be due to a security issues and for my safety and the safety of others.
It is after doing what I was expected to do which is to stop and then I was harassed or humiliated that I can have cause to raise dust but until then, I will comply with security directives and not work with assumptions or behave as a security threat.

I know that you will still not have sense after reading this and you would end up frothing at your mouth from the thoughts of what you would write back in reply but I won't answer you. I won't dignify you again.
I do hope that when you find yourself in a foreign country, you can decide not to stop (your vehicle) when being called and approached by a government security agent on uniform.

It's understandable that most of you become extremely decent and responsible online.

Kudos.
