Nigeria is the largest producer of rice in Africa. But if you ask Nigerians they’ll say we don’t have any Agriculture production.

They devalued the currency . It is the same NNPC dollars that we have been spending before Buhari came to power.
When Obasanjo was there and before him Abacha. . It was the same oil. BUHARI HAS ENJOYED MUCH HIGHER OIL PRICES THAN ABACHA OR OBASANJO.
Oil prices have been high for a considerable period
Engage with the issue without vile language if you have anything to offer . Under Buhari in 7 years the currency lost 66% of its value. That is unprecedented in our history. That is a fact . Under Buhari our currency has had its worst performance ever.
Several other policies have not helped . The CBN has been lending the government money at unprecedented levels which is effectively PRINTING money .

These are sterile "facts"

The reality is that the GDP is too small for our population and so at a per capita level it is not enough to lift the majority out of poverty or even destitution. It does not translate to a good life for most
Largest producer of rice in Africa is a meaningless statistic , add to that cassava, peanuts too . It is not enough to feed our people and is unaffordable for most.
Specifically our production is inefficient and one of the lowest in the world in terms of tonnes per hectare.

The most important thing is employment or should I say unemployment which is one of the highest in the world.

Agriculture is the largest sector of our GDP and one of the most unproductive in the world still using machetes and hoes
Let me give you an interesting statistic. Nigeria imports in excess of $10 billion food yearly. Now where are those dollars coming from ? Over 90% is still oil. So if we do not sell oil we would starve.
It is that stark
