So because they are called snakes humans should not be associated with snakes, so if they are called roses it woulda being better? I have 2 large snakes in my house, you may not like snakes but others do, there are no difference between a Lizard and a snake, they are both reptiles.. snakes comes from Lizards go do some research educate yourself on reptiles.
