In September 2017, the then Governor of Borno State and current Vice-Presidential aspirant of APC, Kashim Shettima, visited Owerri to meet Governor Okorocha

At the time, Boko haram was ravaging many parts Borno, killing people and taking over territories, while IPOB was an unarmed organisation that had no single record of killing anyone

Remarkably, after Kashim Shettima met Okorocha, he told journalists that he was in the South East because of IPOB's agitation for Biafra. He said that IPOB was more dangerous than Boko Haram. He even acknowledged that Boko Haram killed over 25 people in Borno that very day but maintained his stance that IPOB was more dangerous than Boko haram even though IPOB was unarmed and killed nobody

What sort of man is this? Boko haram are slaughtering people in your state but you came to the South East, where IPOB is killing nobody, to say that IPOB is more dangerous
