Muslim-muslim Ticket: High Time CHRISTIANS Test It’s Popularity In 2023 Election by Twist4u: 3:56am On Jul 17, 2022
Given the fact that the Current ruling Party APC have settled for a Muslim-Muslim ticket on the basis of Winnerability.

This have thrown up many questions begging for answer, one urgent questions is…

"Are Christian a minority population in Nigeria?

A quick follow up to this question

Isn’t it High time Christian evaluate it’s Popularity come 2023 election to test it’s Winnerability strength?

E get y as it is said in local parlance..

To determine its bargain power in Nigeria politics
To understand whether it’s a second fiddle or not

To have control of the contested narrative that Muslims are majority In Nigeria

To set the records straight in the future decision concerning political direction in Nigeria.

In my opinion an evaluation of Christian popularity is an idea whose time has come in 2023. Expecially the population of Christian in the 19 Northern State.

I became very interested in having a vivid knowledge of Christian population from the 19 Northern state after I read an opinion post online by one “Prophet Isa El-Buba” titled “Are Christians Really A Minority In Nigeria?

In his Summary and Statistical data, Christian constitute Majority population of about 55% to 95% in some Northern state like, Kaduna, Jos, Taraba, Adamawa, Nasarawa, Benue and Abuja. While the Christian population is between 20 % – 45 % in State like Gombe, Bauchi, Kogi, Bornu, Kwara, Niger and Yobe. Whereas in Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara the population of Christian is between 5% - 20% .

Without wasting much time…

Here’s an excerpt from Prophet Isa El-Buba Opinion Article published online, titled :
“Are Christians Really A Minority In Nigeria?

The century long Propaganda by the Colonial Masters and the Muslim Northerners who control the media in the North made the world believe Christians in the North are insignificant, maybe 95% muslims to 5% Christians.

The Nigerians in the South and middle belt have believed this too.

Many Southerners never believed there were indigenous Christians from Borno State until the Chibok girls kidnapped were 90% Christians, indigenous to Chibok in Borno State.

Find here the population statistics in the North of Nigeria:

NORTHERN CHRISTIAN

1) North East:

I. Adamawa state is 60 percent Christian.

II. Taraba State is 70 percent Christian (The muslims here fear the Christians who do not take any disrespectfully lying down).

III. Gombe State is 40 percent Christian(It could be more).

IV. Borno State is 30 Percent Christian.

V. Bauchi State is 20 Percent Christian.

VI. Yobe state is 20 percent Christian(it could be more).

2)North Central:

I. Benue is 95% percent Christian.

II. Plateau State is 90 percent Christian.

III. Nasarawa State:
The two largest ethnic groups are:

a. Eggon, the largest ethnic group that is 80 percent Christian, and,

b. Mada: which is 90 percent Christian.

#. Others: are in the least of 65 percent Christian.

Nassarawa has alot of animists even in LGAs near Abuja the FCT.

IV. Kogi State is 60 percent Christian:

a. Igala is 70 percent Christian.

b. Okun is almost 100 percent Christians.

c. Ibira Land Christians are 30 percent.

V. Kwara: Christians are 40 percent(it could be more).

VI. Niger: 40 percent Christian (High number of animists in Niger especially among the Dukawa People in Rijau LGA of Niger State).

3) North West:

I. Kano: 10 percent Christian(It could be more with a very high population of Igbos who have been part of the driving force of commerce there for decades).

II. Katsina is 20 percent Christian (Christians could be up to 40% in Katsina, many indigenous Hausas in Katsina call Maguzawa are Christians).

III. Sokoto is 5 percent Christian.

IV. Zamfara is 20 percent Christian.

V. Kebbi State is 30 percent Christian(High number of animists & Idol Worshippers exist in Kebbi especially among the Zuru and Dukawa people in Shanga LGA and around Yauri).

VI. Kaduna State is 55 percent Christian (this population has been systematically thinned out under the watchful eyes of El-rufai).

The Middlebelt is not less than 50m People.

If Kaduna alone can have about 3 million Christians by 2006 census according to LGAs, the entire Northern Nigeria should have not less than 60 million Christians!

Thank you for taking your time to read.

By Prophet Isa El-Buba”

From this opinion post of Prophet Isa El-Buba who is a core Northerner by origin, I can conclude by saying

it’s a Clarion call on the Christian population to evaluate it’s popularity come 2023 election in other to check something grin grin

This can be achieved by

1. Massive mobilization Voters Card registration, the same way their Muslim counterpart go about mobilization it’s members, through Churches, Pastors and down to families ensuring each member of voting age to get register.

2. Officially Collaborate with INEC to deploy more data Registration Machine In areas identified or mapped out to have high Christian population but low or few INEC data registration point ( Any serious Political party, Especially the Labour party can leverage on this Low hanging fruits: Search and Map out this area and Collaborate with INEC to deploy it’s data capturing machine there. You will be amazed the numbers of Nigerians that have not registered)

3. Ensure all those of voting age have a PVC before election and

4. Ensure they Come out em mass to participate on the day of election.

5. lastly, massively vote for a party and candidate they perceived will defend their interest.

Until this action is taken the Narrative of Christian being Minority is believed to be true.

A Clarion Call to Action.

Adamawa 55 Christians Hhhhh u ar foolish

it could be more than 55% of Christian. Adamawa was a state created from the Old Gongola State, dominated by Christian Majority, before broken into other state: Gombe, Taraba & Adamawa.

For your information I grew up and Schooled in the North and have spent at least one month in 15 of the 19 northern states.

The fact is most South westerners knowledge of Nigeria is Limited to Lagos alone. With Zero knowledge of the population dynamics in the North.

A reason why Tinubu will make such disastrous choice of Muslim- Muslim ticket as a Ruling Party.

Voters apathy among the Northern Christian is the major problem for Christian community. I don't care attitude, after all what am I going to benefit. But..

With the recent awakening of youth which INEC records shows 23 million Voters registration activities in it's June report. With 10 million new registration and 13 million other activities such transfer of voters card etc

2023 election will be the biggest shocker for those whose strategies of Winning election rely soly on the old pattern of voting and have not realize INEC uses BVAS now and electronic voting is legal.

Prophet Isa El Buba has deceived you with bogus figures that he doesn't even know what he said. One can't just give figures without authentic data. Recently religious clerics are seriously misleading their followers and if Muslims will play politics the same way Christians particularly from that fanatics side do there will be a serious embarrassment. Tinubu and Atiku won't play religious card and one of them will win 2023 election and remember playing religious card openly may attract serious consequences, we don't want hear marginalisation and Islamization henceforth!

the question is who are the Christians voting for? Atiku or Obi.

If Atiku wins, are Christians saying they will be comfortable again under another Fulani president?

If Obi wins, I hope Christians will be ok and comfortable if Obi does not give them the kind of generosity just like he did as Anambra governor.

I just think we Christians are times are just confused and don't know what we want. I think Christians don't understand they are just pawns for the politicians

Op I fancy your take.
But this is not Just a Christian thing,we have Muslims who are already against such evil agendas that tinubu and apc out of greed are pushing for.
And to some dullards saying that we should not speak up bcus there are other options.
We live in a society where we interact ideas, thought, agendas together, when such agendas that will put our survival in danger and further enhance the distrust, disunity amongst us that we are trying to close comes up even as a joke or mere thought,it is very very important that everyone speaks up against it and crush it to the ground so that the ideology doesn't have any chance to germinate seeds.
I no vote for Apc,se I no follow collect wotowoto from bubu terrible rule?
Crushing Apc should be a task for all of Us.
They don't care about what happens to Us as a people all they care about is emilokon and holding on to power.
Abeg make we join hand crush Apc first, then after we don finish crushing our common enemy we fit come face ourselves back with our tribal gbasgbos cheesy grin
