Thanks for your analysis

Osunites voted APC bad governance out and installed a candidate they believe is fairer not even minding party affiliations because PDP has nothing to offer too. The inabilities of APC Chieftains from the west in speaking against the bad governance at the federal is the major problem APC have in the west now. This is complicated with BAT choice of Boko Haram terror lord in person of BHTL (Boko Hara Terror Lord) Kashim Shettima as his running mate and the Obi effect which is even more significant as Youths have decided to have a better Leaders in person of Obi/Datti

It is only bigots that will not believe in Peter Obi, he is a good man and deserves to be the President based on credibility, but sorry credibility does not work out with the north cos larger percentages of people their are bigots who who votes based on religion just as we have larger percentages of people in the east who votes based on ethnicity. However north still have almost 60% of registered voters so far and they also have a strong orientation towards voting that even the crippled and blind will go enmass to vote. This will make Peter not having chance to win the election despite his credibility.
BabaAgba79:

I dont believe in Peter Obi. I believe in Tinubu. Osun people lost a good man to a man who will squander their resources on frivolities. Oyetola managed Osun meagre resources better than Aregbe. Aregbe could not pay his workers but Oyetola constantly did so amidst nothing. Osun, enjoy whatever is served to u. But mark my words, Adeleke wud not perform half of Oyetola's achievements.

All those factors are irrelevant, reason for his defeat is because he was given opportunity to prove himself in good governance but failed to impress people. There was no visible significant things he has done in remote towns and villages that people can point to. He started building roads in many remote towns and villages when election was approaching which people believe he was only doing that to canvass for election because he may soon abandon them.

He also abandoned good policies of Aregbesola without replacing them with convincing alternatives. Another reason why people voted him out is that he is too dull, no charisma like Aregbesola. Adeleke was only elected because APC did not provide better alternative. Adeleke is just given four years to prove he myself if he has something to offer beyond dancing. If he turns government house to club house or dancing hall, he will be sent packing in the same manner. People of Osun don't hate Tinubu, they just don't want bad product of Oyetola.

You might be surprised that by next year, Tinubu may gather above 80% of Osun votes, because they know him as personally competent, but they never want somebody to hide under him to grab second tenure after glaring non-performance from Oyetola

Gbam!!! You have said it all
These are real facts. Your analysis are top notch.

And you forgot to mentioned that PDP has an existing structure added with love they had for the Adeleke’s being a philanthropist for decades on osun . Stop deceiving yourself with the illusion of PO winning the president.Your eye will clear by evening of presidential Election Day.The race is between BAT or ATIKU.Time will tell
Obojuju:
The former interim merger chairman of APC Bisi Akande is from Osun state.
The current secretary of APC Omishore is from Osun state .
Bola Tinubu is from Osun state.
Femi Fani Kayode is from Osun State.
Femi Adesina is from Osun state .
The national deputy chairman of APC is from Osun state .
The current governor of Osun is Tinubu Cousin .
This are the structures.
Yet ,the people structure defeated them all.

With all this, Apc still lost, lets not be over joyous as the paradigm shift is fast moving from deep pocket or party to credibility and vision. Follow the trend as its moving cos electorate are fast waking up.

Vote Peter Obi as President in 2023 and lets build a new Nigeria devoid of poverty and economic woes.

2)Aregbesola factor: This is the most important factor, infact the adeleke should thank God for this.
The difference of less than 40k votes would have been sorted out by Aregbesola he knows how to play his dirty game

The most important was 6 and 8

Re: #osundecides2022: Eight Factors That Helped Adeleke Defeat Oyetola by ebenholer2(m): 7:47pm On Jul 17, 2022
No, Gov Oyetola may be a gentleman but saying he kept his promises, that he repaid debts, paid workers salary and doing some other things u mentioned happened to be based on biased views. He did not do all those things u mention. I am from Osun I can tell u that. Workers were paid 50% of their salaries and those with pensions were left unpaid for over 4years now. His capital project is road construction without being mindful poverty-stricken status of his people.
Beolly:
People Wanted Change

There is little argument that the governor is a gentleman, who kept many of his promises to the people. His performance in debt repayment, salaries to workers and stability of the state’s solvency are not under scrutiny.

The people, however, wanted a change.

They held the governor responsible for the high cost of living, insecurity and uncertainty, largely blamed on the ruling APC nationwide. The APC and all its candidates will have to bear this burden in the coming 2023 general elections.

Adeyinka, a receptionist in one of the leading hotels in Osogbo, told PREMIUM TIMES that there is no reason why the people would want to continue with an APC government that has so much created problems for the people nationwide. He, however, was concerned that the Osun voter might return to the APC when the presidential election is held just for the sake of Bola Tinubu.

It will always be a Win win for the Yorubas because they are democratic in nature hence their even numbers both in APC and PDP.

Now compare that to the Biafrans who ALL go one way. Now they are "PDP" members temporarily because of Tinubus loss .

They forgot that they are in an Unstructured Party LP which is going absolutely nowhere.

At the end of the day, Yorubas will always be ONE........PDP or APC!

It is high time the politicians should stop deceiving us with repeated and lingering infrastructural projects. In Nigeria of our own, developing and building up people are not the main focus of the government but building up repeated structures, reconstruction of roads they should have once and for all used standard/durable materials to construct so that there will no reason for its dilapidation. Imagine how roads are being repeatedly constructed and how projects that should last for just 6months are being extended to last as far as 4years, that shows how demonic our leaders are.

One of the major factors that will give Peter Obi victory next year is that the SW are tired of tinubu's dynasty and want to put an end to it.

This I have seen.

Tired of Tinubu dynasty therefore Fulanis should continue abi? Because Obi has no chance.

The list won't be complete until you add tinubu to it. Tinubu has what it takes to help anybody win election presently. If he wants you to win, all he needs do is to support your opponent and you will win straight. He helped obaseki win in Edo by supporting his opponent and he did it again in osun.
