You really don't understand. This is climate change issue that will surely affect the whole globe inventually with time. It may not even be 50 years from now. There beginning and end time for everything under heaven including the life in earth.

Which other environmental challenges is worst than APC and Buhari. I prefer Bush burning, heat waves and even earthquakes to Buhari or Buhari pro max.

they re badly affected because its a rapid increase in temperature ,Australia has been like that for years now(thats why yearly bush fires is normal in the country ) and lagos got as high as 37 degrees last year temps gradually dropped a few months ago .

high temperature for them is like 17 degrees while cold is 9.5 degrees ,i hope you are beginning to understand how drastic the change in temperature would feel for them.I had trouble sleeping when Lagos got to 38 degrees ,it was 32-35 even as early as 3 am thank God the weather has become better but then again it didn't go back to normal i am not sure if anyone in Lagos has noticed for over 2 months now the temps in Lagos is lower than usual although it still gets a bit hot whenever it sunny but at night time the weather is unusually cold (gets even colder when it rains or drizzles).

I understand, every body should be ready for changes. Dollar was 192 and now 630 can you you equate the change? So they should stop shouting.

On a serious note, I have noticed that whenever Europe is hot Africa will be cold and vice versa. That time Lagos was 38...Europe was freezing. I think it has something to do with the oceans.

Make we no see this kind heat for naija o. Cos how many people get AC?

Our normal temperature is sometimes close to 40. We do have 35, 37, and 38. I'm not too sure now but I think we do sometimes record above 40 in the northern part of Nigeria

Prim faya, it's effect of radiation from nuclear power plants that give them uninterrupted hundreds of megawatt of electricity power. Not all that glitters is a gold. However, we do have out own heat-waves here too and it's our government because it's in the wrong hands of incompetent and wicked ones.

Sick and tired of all these lamentations in the west. They are the cause of global warming. They are the ones pumping carbon into the atmosphere in record quantities. They are the ones destroying the planet do they should feel the heat (pun intended).

Thank goodness most of Africa is in and around the equator and that gives us weather stability and predictability for decades to come.

This will be the last habitable part of the earth in the future.

You understand noting about your Gods ....do you know the number of people the isreali gods killed?...or the Greek?...what about the innocent women and children that where raped and kilked by the British..the Portuguese..the French..the Americans..the Scots and so on....bro our ancestors and Gods can and will never harm us ..our slave master just brought all that useless statement to amke us deviate and abandone them ...you know the reason why israel is what it is today?...its because they never left their tradition, an average isreali is a Jew....why do you think Africa has everything in the world but good leadership ....have you ever thought of how Europe was before the invasion of Africa? It was a mess ...you could not compare UK to Benin city ....but after they took our Gods over to their country the difference u can't compare now....bro Africa needs to go back to its roots ...then nd only then will we be a force ....yes there are bad native doctors ..but if everybody goes back to their roots it will be hard for anyone to be killed spiritually fact.

Have you not noticed all the flooding and increased temperatures in some parts of Nigeria? That is climate change. Africans will just continue to suffer as they always have.

What about northern Nigeria, there are forests there, and I know temperature in the north can go as high as 45 degree Celsius.
There is something those people are not telling us.

Are you sure there are real forests in the north? Some of kind of hardy trees maybe, but deciduous and coniferous trees? I am not really sure of that, though I will find out more about it. I also think that the sudden increase in their temperatures tend to trigger these wildfires (remember that wildfire phenomenon is not the only thing they battle with that we don't have over here).
