Atiku and fayose got it wrong, if fayose is backing a southrn president why not back the SE in the spirit of rotational zoning, Atiku is talking of PDP not nigeria, is he going to president of PDP or Nigeria? Politicians interpret constitution to suite their selfish ambition |

Fayose spoke plain truth, I'm all in for a southern president either Tinubu or Obi should win, they'll both perform as president sentiment apart |

Why can't people understand common statement. Is it a Nigerian constitution for presidencial rotation? What about other regions? Do we have only APC and PDP in Nigeria? Other parties nko? Who was APGA,AA, LP, SDP presidencial candidates during 2015,2019 elections? Jonathan contested against Buhari, whose turn was it? AAA keep giving then TKO. |

KalakutaRepub:Apc and automatically Nigeria producing a Northern president should affect Both and All parties who intend to keep zone rotation or else the rotation rule is pointless. Atiku knows this bt trying to be greedy, stubborn and desperate. Why do u think Apc fielded a Northerner buhari after Jonathan? They could have gone with a southerner and make excuses with their party internal rotation bt it won't make sense. |

It is Atiku that is reading the PDP Constitution upside down In Fairness and Equity means that Atiku a Fulani cannot justify himself following a 2 term Fulani President Buhari since there are over 300 tribes in Nigeria |

All i know is that power is coming to the south. We couldn't have had 16 years of uninterrupted power from the north. Even President Buhari and the apc have acknowleged it. |

Dreal1247:what stops the south from coming to the south east to pick a consensus candidate, maybe equity means wike musseling himself financially after Jonathan from the same region had it for 6years ? abeg they should all rest with useless equity that benefit nobody but themselves. When you go into a contest ,two option are available, either you win or you lose ,wike lost and should rest pls. |

Kurutinto:Eranko, did you read that paper. When una no Dey read. That piece was during the military regime and his statement was reflection of happening’s at that time that bother on the direction we were heading under military junta. You can’t compare that with a bunch of Zoogerian that fought a civil war because of ethnic conscious with erroneous braggadocio of Igbo superiority over other tribes. Many of your forefathers lost their lives because of this partisan indiscretion. Unfortunately many of you have inherent this stupidity with a new twist of religion consciousness that will consume all of you.

Im a card carrying member of the PDP in Delta State, but with all I have within me I will never vote nor support Atiku/Okowa for Presidency come next year. Even in the dreams If I see myself voting PDP I will wake up from that sleep and reject and bind that dream. Peter Obi is the better choice |
| Re: Power Rotation: Fayose Reading PDP’s Constitution Upside Down – Atiku by dyera(m): 4:32pm On Jul 23, 2022 |
SmartyPants:Whether constitution or no constitution all you need for issues like this is common sense. After eight years of northern president, it should be common sense that the next president should be a southerner. If one of the major political party field a southern candidate after a southern president has ruled for eight years, would that person be able to campaign in the North. The major problem with Tinubu and Atiku, they don't care about equity and fairness, all they care about is achieving their presidential ambition. |

| Re: Power Rotation: Fayose Reading PDP’s Constitution Upside Down – Atiku by SmartyPants(m): 4:40pm On Jul 23, 2022 |
dyera:Hmmm. I don't know about this argument. Because all along this was the argument that the Northerners made, that they are owed at least another 3 years ( 4 effectively), based on 8 years of OBJ, and 5 years of GEJ, meaning the south has been in power for 3 years longer. On equity and fairness alone it appears we the South would be in debt. I think we must either leave this zoning arrangment behind or strictly codify it into the National Constitution. |

| Re: Power Rotation: Fayose Reading PDP’s Constitution Upside Down – Atiku by dyera(m): 4:58pm On Jul 23, 2022 |
SmartyPants:With the nature of Nigeria it is impossible for the citizens to not strongly consider zone and religion when deciding who becomes the president. For example as a christian southerner, if another muslim becomes the president after 8 years of muslim president, I will be thinking of leaving the country. And if another northerner becomes the president after 8 years of northern president, I will be more accepting of the idea of dividing Nigeria. The need to consider zone and religion when deciding who becomes the president of Nigeria is to ensure everyone feels included however slightly. |
