Maybe; but then again, maybe not. The ONLY reference to Tunde Bakare and SKODA on the internet is him claiming in a 2009 Sahara Reporters that he brought the company to Nigeria. No specifics about how much of SKODA Nigeria he owns, how much it was worth, the value now or any other source stating this. None.

That's how Tinubu got away with claiming he earned millions of dollars as a Mobil accountant for years until we found out he was paid less then $3000 monthly. And the millions from other less than noble sources.

Wisely, since then Tunde Bakare doesn't re-echo that line, especially now. Don't set him up for digging during this period.

If is very much possible depending on the capacity of the genrator; maybe it exactly 2m but something closer sha.

U will be surprised the amount some multinationals spend on diesel monthly. Na why Business development officers always get their targets reviewed upwards almost every quarter.

Some big multinationals have even take some drastic steps by stating the hours within which the generator will be on and staff are expected to get work done. It's that terrible now. A friend was telling me how they are dealing with the realities by putting off the gen by 3pm daily.

U know hospitals definitely have to run the gen 24/7 if the man's claim that the main electricity lines of the teaching hospital has been destroyed since 2021 is true

Nigerians were generally in support of subsidy removal, the issue with Jonathan's govt was that things had worsened under him to an unmanageable level, there was zero accountability such that marketers got paid billions without importing a drop of refined crude products, Jonathan wanted to abruptly remove it completely without setting palliatives in place to cushion the effect of such a removal and Nigerians did not trust any of the people he appointed in position to execute this project.

Don't forget too that this same Tunde Bakare, under the Save Nigeria Group fought for Jonathan to be sworn in as acting president when Yar Adua was sick and incapacitated.

Lol, I know an average branch of a bank uses between 120-150 litres daily. At 850 to a litre, that's N102,000 daily. The branch runs for 10-12 hours. N204,0000 if it runs 24 hours.

I expect that the gen there will be much bigger and the consumption significantly higher but definitely not ten times higher.

What do you expect though? How much do you think the diesel supplier paid as bribe to get the contract and how much do you think he remits monthly to powers that be?

You see why some of us have lost hope in the country. The corruption is at every level and almost impossible to eradicate.
