The mother of the late Samuel Odaigbovo Ogbemudia is Igbanke! Most indigenes of this town just like Ika people bear hybrid names that most often could just jolly well pass as EDO because of their names like Nduka Irabor, Jim Ovia, Omorogie Nwawanne, Collins Edumaruse etc

BAYELSA STATE
16) Osekwenike, Abuetor and Eke Okpokri villages, all in Sagbama area of bayelsa, are all Igbo of Ukwuani stock, and as such, are of the Anioma igbo clan of the Igbo ethnic group in BAYELSA

CROSS RIVER STATE
17) ISOBO , even liyl imoke former CR governor and wife are igbos from ABI LGA – CROSS RIVER

AKWA IBOM STATE
18) Ikot Udo Ika in Ika Local Government area of Akwa Ibom is an Igbo community.

BENUE STATE
19)The Igbos in Benue State particularly those in Ado, Oju, Obi and Okpoku LGAs of the state were in existence before the advent of Christian religion in Nigeria.
The Igbo found in Benue are: Umuezeokoha, Umuezeoka, Oriuzor, Umuoghara, Amaekka and Amaezekwe all in Ezza communities, Izzi, Ezzamgbo and Effium, these are the people who would have been in present-day Ebonyi State but due to the fact that the Nigerian government then carved them into Benue in order to suppress the population of the East. Apart from the Ezza-speaking clan, particularly the people of Umuezeokoha that has over 300 villages, if you are to
calculate the number of Igbo-speaking villages in Benue State, outside Umuezeokaoha, you would be talking altogether about over 600 villages. Three of the biggest markets in Benue are all in the Igbo- speaking part.
The markets are Inikiri Ichari, Iddah, Iduokpe. There are also some Igbo speaking Idoma towns in Benue State.

KOGI STATE
20) THE indigenouse Igbo-speaking communities in Kogi state especially in Ibaji and Igalamela/Odolu LGAs are Eke Avurugo community,such as Nwajala, Umuoye, Ubulie-Umuez, ozara, and umuoye and many more.

NOTE
The current Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, also told us that his kingdom was initially conquered by the Igbo (PLEASE KINDLY NOTE THAT HE WAS NOT REFERRING TO THE UGBO OF ONDO STATE)until they were rescued by Moremi and he also spoke of an aboriginal Igbo community that still exist in ILE Ife to this day.
The Ugbo people of Ondo State have the same Obatala linkage with the Aborigines of Ile Ife. Note: there are several Igbo towns in present-day Igboland that are called Ugbo. For instance, you have Ugbodu in Delta State, and Ugbo in Enugu State, just to mention a few.

The Okrika people are known by the native name Wakirike. Wakirike in Igbo language means ‘child of scales’. In other words, fish people or good swimmers. Okrika is an island south of Ikwere and Obulom lands (Port Harcourt) and is home to fishermen and swimmers.

Bonny(Ubani especially Okoloma) should be included in the list

I wanted to take this seriously until I saw that Liyel Imoke and his wife are Igbos from Abi Local Government Area of Cross River State. That's not correct.

For the record, the Abi people in Cross River are not Igbos.
Mrs Obioma Imoke, wife of the former governor of Cross River State is from Enugu but became an indigene of the state by marriage.

For Akwa-ibom. Ohaobu ( town after Azumimi ) is an Igbo town. Infact, they don't see themselves as Akwa-ibom Indigenes.

Please could you do a correction. It is very important to our "Ethnic nationality" . Etchie and Omuma are the same Ochie clan.

The Ochie clan have four LGAs in Imo and Rivers. Two in Rivers (Etchie and Omuma) and two in Imo State (Ngor Okpala and Owerri North). We are part of the ancient Ochie clan of the Southern Igbo group. I knoiw you do not have evil intention but we are very concerned as some folks are trying to cause division within our clan. There is a grand design to further dismember Etchie with the current agitation by misguided individuals led by a traditional ruler (Uthman Dan Fodio ensemble) once disgraced by Governor Wike to form Omuma Ethnic nationality.
