Merely checking the date you joined NL, I could judge how "informed and experienced" you are about Nigeria and history. Do you know about the believe we had in Buhari's promises pre-election based on his antecedents? Aburo, the big picture is more than those mouthy solutions. Is state policy supported by our constitution? I doubt. Obi did not impress me at all tonight and he needs to learn more from the veterans Atiku and Tinubu at least on how to answer political questions.

If you had any belief in Buhari then it says a lot about your thought process and decision making capabilities.

As I have said so many times and on different forums, anyone who campaigned for Buhari in 2015/2019 is much more dumb than they'd ever admit. You're also most likely someone with herd mentality who remains unenlightened.

With people like you in the tens of millions I seriously doubt that Nigeria can make any significant progress.

More reason why the country needs to declare a state of emergency on education because the system is churning out too many uncivilised and unenlightened individuals.

I don't know who advices the current Nigeria leadership.

How will it make sense to them that someone who has been living in the desert for all his life will make for better policing than someone who has been living in the creeks all his life?

Some states can support their own policing if allowed, states like Lagos and Anambra cannot allow the slow, heavy policing that has been slowing their states businesses and delaying court processes.

Bringing police hierarchy from the North to police southern States or vice versa is only a recipe for disaster. Let people police the areas they can understand.

Though I'm very Obident, I've got issues with establishing state police under the control of governors. An incumbent governor will use it to oppress and harass the opposition. Imagine a Shettima in charge of State Police for his State. Hisbah is abusive in the North, Amotekun has had some unnecessary clashes and Ebubeagu was accused of killing some youths in Imo state.

There has to be checks and balances on governors in regards to this state police issues

As we speak now there various forms of the equivalent of state policing going on in all parts of the country and the pulse is that they're neither here nor there.

Is it Hisbah, ESN, Amotekun, UGM or the dozens of half decent Vigilante groups that can become tyrants themselves.
