I studied food science and I just finished my service. It has been my passion to be a Chef but I can't afford the culinary school fee at this time.

Please is there any Chef in the house who could help mentor me in that path please??

I'm not a Chef ... howbeit as a Skill Mentorship expert/ceo i'll suggest you get an online chef training & certification that won't have you breaking the bank(affordable)...one of such is Top Chef University. ©https://www.topchefuniversityapp.com... You can access their courses via an app on your phone or tablet, which is great for those who don't want to drag a laptop into the kitchen. It's $25 a course or go for $200 for a year's subscription....

If I wanted to learn carpentry and was a graduate, I’d get a regular 9 - 5. With time I’ll save the needed funds to pay for an apprenticeship course down the line.

Life is not difficult, na we dey complicate am.

To add to what meobizy said. You could learn basic baking and cooking skill that can get you a job as a kitchen assistant. Knowing your dreams, you should be patient to start small and continue to harness your skills while following top chefs online and earning the relevant certifications in your field.

Thanks bro . I hope to get a hotel/ eatery job, from there I'll save for the main training while learn some basics from the kitchen.
